localshop
Started poorly, had some decent moments, and then was dreadful. On two or three occasions he failed to control a ball an 8 year-old would have no problems with. Yep the one where it went through his legs out for a throw in was awful. Hopefully Marveaux will be fit for Chelsea as Gutierréz needs a rest badly. Still love him although he shouldn't be a starter anymore and to be fair to Pardew he wasn't going to be until Marveaux picked up the knock.
LFEE
I really like the man himself, a fantastic positive character. As a footballer, he's lost everything that made him good. Happy for him to come off the bench in the final 10-15 minutes but other than that.... Never thought I find myself agreeing with a statement like this after some of his performances last season... But it seems as though his legs have gone...
Varadi
He obviously knows how bad he's been and it must be frustrating the hell out of him, hence the increase in petulant outbursts we never used to see from him.
Newcastle Fan
As awfull as he was he got us the three points with that goal lineclearnce, a Danny Simpson like peformance from the lad!

I may have a slightly higher opinion than you on Krul but no way would he have let that in man!
KaKa
More depressingly he's started whinging all the time, which is what players do when they know they're playing crap. Confidence is shot. What happened Jonas?

KaKa
Dude can't even trap the ball properly! That was the worst ... Shola had by some miraculous intervention from God, managed to control the ball, hold it up, and then lay it off to him, and he missed it cimpletely. There should be a rule that he and Shola shouldn't be on the pitch at the same time.
TRon
Might still need his defensive application against teams like Chelsea. Although he looked pretty woeful in that department as well yesterday.
morla84
Feels like Alan Smith all over again, shame we are short of options on that side as Obertan and Sammy are hardly much better. You might be able to make a half-decent player if you put all 3 together!

Kanj
He's probably one of the most likeable chaps we have. He not only says the right things but he gives 100% every time out there. Problem is that his 100% isn't enough. Like I said, happy for him to come off the bench to shore us up and help out when we need him. He plays perfectly standard and OK in the first 10-20 minutes of a match. He keeps the ball, passes it. Levels in a random cross or 3 that are either crap or almost decent and gets us a free kick or 2.
Skirge
He is ideal t come off the bench fresh with 20 mins to go to tighten things up, sad its came to that but do both him and the team good.

Lenny
I still love you, Jonas. You'll always be beautiful, sweet prince. He's never been outstanding, but he was bloody good for a while and until this season always at least above average. It saddens me to see him as he is now. I hate hating him
Kanj
Sweet prince I remember him putting in a marvelous hard working shift in the opener, and its all just went down hill from there.
huss9
better option than shola to bring on and shut a game down. can keep the ball, and draw fouls to good effect at the end of a game when maybe final product isnt important
