Joe_F
I can't see why QPR would sell one of their most influential players when they are pushing for promotion this season. £? Because he have loads of that don't we? And QPR really need the money !!
Thespence
See ya, Jonas. Warnock said today most clubs would not bid for player that does not pass & there system is built around him. No one is allowed to pass to him in there half & it only now he drops into defensive position but he still wont tackle.
dinotheprehistoricgeordie
Ashley is doing some strange stuff lately giving out 5.5 year deals, maybe he might just do something else strange and back his new manager? It just doesn't make sense from QPRs point of view. Their team is doing well in the Championship, they're 4 points ahead with a game in hand to their closest rivals and are owned by a group of million/billionaires. I would assume that they don't desperately need the cash they would get for Taarabt unless it was ridiculous £££.
Ronaldo
See ya, Jonas. Eh? Jonas, not Ash. Why would signing Taarabt mean the end of Jonas/him out of the side? Because i'm an optimist. Surely it'd be better to sign a left winger to play on the left wing if you want him out of the side so badly? Clearly, but the article links Taarabt. Ronaldo
You've missed the point. If we were to sign Taarabt, Jonas would be on the bench, playing with his pigtails.
Foluwashola
Is Taarabt not a player who would be more suited to playing off Carroll? Unless I'm mistaken he is one of those van der Vaart type players who floats about and prefers to play without any sort of responsibilities.

Ketsbaia
Can't believe we keep getting linked with Taarabt - it doesn't make a lot of sense. And we should be aiming for better.
Ash
You've missed the point. If we were to sign Taarabt, Jonas would be on the bench, playing with his pigtails. That would be a great idea. There'd be so much balance to the side with Taarabt on the left wing.

Taarabt is brilliant at picking the ball up deep and running at players. He'd be useful on either flank, imo.

He doesn't work hard enough and would leave us short when we're defending.
Ronaldo
Enrique is a very good defender, he can deal with a maverick/enigma in front on him. Olivier Bernard managed it, for crying out loud.
dinotheprehistoricgeordie
I've heard he is fairly inconsistent and a bit of a sulk. Can anyone comment?

He may well be, won't mean much though if the opposition send every attack down our left hand side because Taarabt's playing on the left wing. Ronaldo
The positives outweight the negatives. He's scored more goals in the last year than Jonas has in his entire career. He can cross, too.
Thespence
Is Taarabt not a player who would be more suited to playing off Carroll? Taarabt plays for himself, he would not work in any combo for us. It works well for him & QPR as it is built around him going forward.
leffe186
If that and the Keane loan fee rumour is true, Spurs will struggle to do business with anyone. It's disgusting to ask so much to sign a player for 5 months. I wouldn't pay much more than £1m to take O'Hara permanently. Disgusting? Whoa there. If you don’t think he's worth getting in at that price then just don't get him in. I'm guessing that Levy is looking to cover the amortization of the player's value, which simply makes sense. You may as well say it was disgusting to ask for 30M for Berbatov, or whatever Milner went to City for. If you have the player under contract then you can ask what you want. Personally, I hate loans between Prem clubs, think they shouldn't be allowed. O'Hara is not a bad player either!

I've seen him play when I went to La Bombonera but I can't recall him doing anything of note despite them winning 4-0. Didn't score/assist. I know he'd be a moron to go to Birmingham. I like this on his wiki - He is dating Luli Fernandez, and the pair won Sky Sports 'WAGs and STAGs' league.
Magpie
Mate who's a big Arsenal fan reckons we're strongly linked with a loan move for Vela. Sure the same thing's been said the last 3 windows though.

Cajun
Hopefully loan to buy. Then Keane would look a better signing imo. Keane, Carroll, Vela, Ranger Emergency - Ameobi the first two have the ability to keep us going (over the next couple of seasons in Keane's case) and the other two are capable of stepping in when needed/getting minutes. Wenger wouldn't loan us Vela to backup Keane. We are not getting Keane. Keane sucks.
