JH
Can't believe that Man U is the other game Sky have chosen - it'll be fucking toss bad.
Greg
Hopefully prices aren't too steep, will most likely be attending £20 adults, £10 for OAPs, tax dodgers and bairns.
pedro111
Surprise surprise its £20 a ticket. Seems the club are happy to have a half empty stadium for a big cup tie. What a joke.

Don't see a problem with it being £20 myself, the equivalent game in the Premier League would be close to £40 a ticket.
Bizza
Midweek, cup game, £20 a ticket and on Sky. Half empty ground for certain.
Greg
If you can't find £20 to go the game then you're either bankrupt or don't want to go.

Is £20 not pretty cheap? Can't see tickets ever getting lower than that.
durhamunigeordie
I'd agree with that, was always going to be £20, that's what Chelsea charged us last week. Hopefully we can get 'the bowl' as they call it full and create a decent atmosphere.
Fenham Mag
Think we'll get around 30,000. Tickets really should be £15 adults and £5 for kids though. Although i will be taking advantage of the student prices .
Guest Roger Kint
£10 = Full House > £20 x 25/30k tbh
Fenham Mag
Norwich in league cup 3rd round match in 2004 report from nufc.com: A healthy 42,153 were attracted in by the £15 adults, £5 Bairns and OAPs deal And that's only Norwich.

pedro111
Given the circumstances the tickets should have been £15 max; £10 if they wanted to show a gesture of goodwill and garuntee a full house to spur the team on but nah they prefer a half empty stadium to be beamed out on live TV. Nice.
MW
My ST is in the "lower bowl", but i fancy sitting somewhere different for this, maybe L7 so when those tickets go on sale on 7th October, will "lower bowl" ST holders be able to buy them up there or will i have to wait for general sale? Don't mind if i do tbh i should have more money by then
Disco
Mackems got just shy of 22,000 v WHU - should beat that but not by much I'd have thought.
stozo
£20 for a game that is on TV and on a weeknight is crazy. 25k maximum is my guess. Surely with the extra TV money they will get for this game they could have had £10 adults and £5 concessions to make a real gesture to the fans that they wanted them to come along and back the team. Don't mind if i do tbh i should have more money by then Would be suprised if they even open level 7 for this (unless by some miracle the "lower bowl" sells out) hence why there is initial period for season ticket holders who normally sit down in the lower bowl to secure their seats before season ticket holders in level 7 get a go. Thats just the way I interpret what they are saying anyway.
Guest BooBoo
People are being ridiculous in terms of ticket prices. £20 for a cup tie v Arsenal is perfectly reasonable.
Mistle17
I thin we'll get around 35k(ish) for this considering its against Arsenal and we can sense a potential cup run. If it were against a less 'prestigious' team we'd be looking at a low-mid 20k...

Im looking forward to it.
Guest Roger Kint
Its still £20 to watch a fair few reserves at the end of the day, would have been a nice gesture £10 or £15 tops.
