jdckelly
FA hiding behind the fact the ref acknowledged seeing the tackle so CAN'T do anything. I find that laughable. laughable yet not in the slightest bit surprising
Guest Brendan_Rice
Just read somewhere that De Jong was the muppet who done the kung fu kick in the world cup final and has a bit of a history when it comes to breaking legs. Lets hope karma takes it toll.

Tachikoma
Broke Stuart Holden's leg when Holland played USA before the WC. Ugh, just saw it and it was arguably a worse tackle than the one on HBA. Didn't even pretend to go for the ball.

wormy
This ridiculous rule that they can't overrule referees has been a joke for years. Is everyone in the FA oblivious to the fact that referees need some of their power taken away? They can't handle todays game to be frank. People like Atkinson are of course a complete other fucking level of retarded incompetence. But just in general, when it's a fact more mistakes are being made in today's game by referees, decisions need to be allowed to be fucking retrospectively overturned. Sifu
Netherlands midfielder Mark van Bommel has denounced claims in the Dutch media that Nigel De Jong is "a criminal" after Bert van Marwijk dropped him from the national side for his tackle on Newcastle's Hatem Ben Arfa, insisting he is "a sweet guy". Full story: Algemeen Dagblad Van Bommel is an absolute dick as well mind, I'm still mystified to this day how he wasn't sent off in the World Cup Final (although guess it was more to do with Webb being incompetent). Spider Jerusalem
FA hiding behind the fact the ref acknowledged seeing the tackle so CAN'T do anything. I find that laughable. Surely it's just more of an indication to the FA of the incompetence or bias of a ref who saw an uncontrolled over-aggresive tackle at point blank range and failed to acknowledge it with a free-kick, never mind the red that it deserved. Never mind the fact that he played on for a few seconds until giving a soft free kick against us for a powder-puff non-challenge.
Mr Logic
One thing I wonder about.. did #1 - De Jong decide to do that by himself #2 - A few Man City players identified HBA as the main threat and suggested a clatter might reduce his enthusiasm for the game. #3 - Mancini highlights HBA as a main threat in team talk ~ De Jong acts alone from that. #4 - Mancini suggests the clatter in team talk before game. NG32
Of course that still happens.....but it wont be admitted for obvious reasons. Mancini is shit faced cock master. Shit loads of talent in his team and they still feel the need to spacker our most talented player.

Brian Kidd's reaction/body language in the post match interview would be of interest to any prosecution lawyer I'm sure.
GM
Not one word from De Jong either after the game, not a sorry or nothing. Hopefully he has at least turned up at the hospital and talked to Ben Arfa, would seem to be a decent thing to do as it's in Manchester and not a long travel for him. Yeah, right. Like that's gonna happen.
Guest Stephen927
Look at the reaction of Shawcross when he broke Ramsey's leg. He didn't mean to do it, his reaction was one of great sorrow for what has just took place. De Jong keeps doing it and doesn't seem to show any acknowledgement of his fellow player on the floor. Guy is a sociopath.
Flip
Saw for the first time the tackle on Stuart Holden by de Jong, and come on! what is de Jong thinking? It is such an unneccesary tackle, he goes in just to injure the player and hopefully hit the ball. Its ridiculous, he's dirtier than fucking van Bommel who honestly is a disgusting player.
