Guest Stephen927
If he's concerned about trophies, maybe he should up his own game.
Guest gggg
This was always going to be Rooney's side of the story but I don't doubt it. Ferguson trying to claim he didn't know why Rooney wanted to leave was laughable and obviously protecting the Glazers. He's going to regret getting into an argument over that horse as his empire crumbles.

leffe186
So basically, Wayne Rooney thinks he's bigger than the biggest club in the world. Well, no. He wants to play for the best club in the world and feels that Man U are on the way down. He thinks he can get more money and more success elsewhere, and he very probably can. Dave
I think he has a point tbh, they are a team with a lot of decent young players and decent old players but few in their prime. They didn't do anything significant in the summer and that isn't a good sign for a club of their stature when compared to the other big clubs. That said, I still think it's about brass. Neil
Not a lot wrong with what's in that statement; whether it's actually what he himself thinks is debatable, could well be some agent massaging going on. Man Utd have big problems at the moment. Scholes, Giggs, Neville and VDV to name 4, won't last much longer. Rooney looks like he's on his way, Ferdinand is in his 30s and Vidic, Evra, Carrick, Hargreaves, Park, Owen and Berbatov are all 30 or near it. They need major investment to revitalise their squad, but where is this going to come from?

Guest Stephen927
How much of the Ronaldo money has been reinvested back into the team, or was it agreed to be paid in installments?
Guest gggg
The sale of Rooney will cover 50% of their losses if they're lucky.

Hopefully none of it, which really proves Rooney's point. It's got to be the worst thing about all this for Fergie, that Rooney is right and the manager can't do anything about it under the Glazier regime. Cronky
I'm not really buying this. Having a pop at the owners' 'lack of ambition' is usually just a convenient way of getting sympathy from the fans.

Parky
Man U have paid £487m in interst payments since the Glazers arrival.
Ketsbaia
Sounds like he's had a glimpse of the next few years and seen it wont be good. Think we've all suspected that they might go downhill soon, so for a Man United fan this must be very worrying. Fun to watch though.
Thespence
So called top players are off if your is relegated, fails to make CL or sign players they think are good.
