This may seem really radical but how about an assistant with a good track record who has no past affiliation with NUFC or Spurs?

Who do you suggest? Not that I'm disagreeing btw.

There are lots of people really many of whom are unknown to me, but I'd like to see a young lower league manager who has ambitions to make it at the top flight and has shown some signs of doing alright in the lower divisions.

Conversely, Exeter City's manager Paul Tisdale has taken them from Conference Mid Table to 7th in League One in four years with a total spend (not net) of £20,000.

He's also easily the best dressed manager. Hughton would look like a mug next to him. :)
