ohmelads
Too early to say. This game suited him because we sat deep meaning not much space behind him for through balls or balls over the top. He was able to rely on his aeriel dominance and reading of the game. In a game where we hold a higher line and go for the win, he may find his lack of pace and mobility more exposed. Very solid performance from him and Taylor though, hoping for more of the same.
oscar
Yup, stupid reactionary thread. It was one game. Reminds me of the idiots saying Shola was a top Prem striker after the mackem game

Campbell could get done for pace but his reading of the game is first class and that will help him, he's not slow anyway as we'll see once he's had a few more games. Campbell and Taylor have at least another 2 games to show what they can do together, at least we'll finally find out if Taylor has struggled because of his partners in the past because he's got no excuse now. Taylor did one thing today which I didn't expect and liked, he was running towards the by-line to win the ball. He got it and just hoofed it high into the stands when he could have tried to play the ball up front when we had nobody in any space. It was simple and the most effective thing that he could have done as it gave us time to re-group.

Reminds me of the idiots saying Shola was a top Prem striker after the mackem game Who said that? Ha ok maybe no one actually said top prem striker, but there were a few who said he was finally fulfilling his potential, is easily the best striker at the club, could score 20 this season etc etc..... Cajun
Worrying if I am honest, if Williamson had put in these performances he would be absolutely slated by some imo.

Nah its ok, if you have years of premiership experience performances such as these are acceptable.
oldtype
He was terrible. I think we can take this as evidence that Campbell is in that stage of his career where he's just not physically capable of starting every week. Coloccini and Williamson as a first-choice pairing backed up by Campbell would be a perfect arrangement.
Pilko
First name on the team sheet? Not in a million years. You'd think this was his 5th game, never mind his 500th. He looked like a schizophreniac with the runs today.

wormy
Was very unimpressed today. Same with Tayls too. Can't really remember them doing anything but hack balls upfield whenever it fell to them by chance. Of course they're going to get 3 goals when Jose and Simpson are having to cut in to cover. Guest Mantis
Couldnt do owt with their combined weight of about 36 stone. Seen more mobility in a retirement home.

Guest Mantis
Don't think he can play this regularly, What, twice in 7 days? Yeah. Then he shouldnt be here. CB cover is always likely to have to cover a 3 match ban at some point. He's struggling with 2 games.

ChrisMcQuillan
Played two very nice passes through the midfield. Not difficult since our midfield were like a pack of one-legged blind ostriches.
