He seriously worries me sometimes. I keep thinking back to when he wouldn't play Tevez and Mascherano at West Ham. He makes some bizzare decisions at times.

What's he trying to prove? Guthrie was kind of understandable as Cabaye had run out of steam a bit, but Lovens was a complete fucking mystery in relation to the other players on the bench.

What message has he sent to Marveaux and Ben Arfa?

Did he learn nothing from the QPR game?

Our problem was we had no resilience on the bench and too many of our players were knackered.

Hindsight would have said Guthrie for Ba, but the other two subs were then spot on after that, it was just we were running on empty.

What a f***ing c***.  Nearly cost us two points with his s*** subs. We are third in spite of this arsehole.

Serious?

Yes.  We are playing well because of the players that our scouts found.  Not because we have been leaving Barfa on the bench and playing Lovenkrands ahead of plenty of much better players.

Should have brought Sammy on instead of Loven if he wanted to protect Ben Arfa

That's what I was thinking as well at the time. Sammy is a player who's always up for a scrap whereas Guthrie and Loven would just get knocked over under pressure.

What on earth are you on about man? Stop polluting the forum with absolute drivel at every attempt.

Remembered reading this the other day and thinking it was odd. Danny Guthries name comes to mind quicker than Marveauxs ?

And expanding on Ben Arfa’s involvement from the start of a game, Pardew added: “You could ask that about Santon, you could ask it about Danny Guthrie, Peter Lovenkrands, Shola Ameobi, Sylvain Marveaux or Danny Gosling.

“We have players who are desperate to play.

Worrying subs really.

Was all ready to praise him like crazy to

He has done an exelent job overall, it's just irritating to look at the Wolves game today, and the QPR game just a few weeks back and see the exact same problems. He doesn't seem capable of changing it round tacticaly, or personel wise, when we're on the back foot. Once we're down we're down.

Made a bad decision, f*** knows why he brought on Lovenkrands...maybe Ba was carrying a knock?

To say we are 3rd in spite of him is f***ing madness like.

Can't understand why he has such a hard on for our shittest players. Alan Smith last season (thank god he got over him), now Loven this season, who has pointlessly been on every bench we've fielded this season.

I don't remember the Alan Smith thing...

Well, he played him against WBA <_< Anyone who has followed us wouldn't let Alan Smith anywhere near the god damn stadium never mind the pitch.
