We took a 2-0 lead and then we went to sleep..... they came back into it...we're still a sleep.... they pull one back....we're still asleep..... then finally when they equalise, the players bother to show the extra effort and try, cluelessly, to win it all over again. Pardew's selection at the start actually helped win us the game, the rest... was lost by the players' complacency, imo. It's his job to motivate the players. We were shite start to finish, never deserved to be 2-0 up and fully deserved to throw it away. Shite game between two teams that played shite. Pardew takes huge amounts of responsibility for it. The first half performance was normal for a team that has been gifted two goals and is under no pressure, but the second half was inexcusable.
