I was fully expecting a loss against Spurs today irrespective of how the game went. The next two games however are the types of games that could define the season and games against fellow bottom half teams. A couple of bad performances in the next two and the heat will already build on Pardew.

I expected to lose against both Man City and Spurs However this game is big but it was always going to be big because Wigan were always going to be a relegation rival.
