Yorkie
Absolutely no excuses not to attack from the off. We should win. Not "we've a good chance" - we should. Cheers Zoggy.
Pilko
4-5-1 and four strikers on the bench again, I bet. Pardew is the sort.
madras
Just seen it on Sky, not a chance it will get overturned it's an unprovoked headbutt to the side of Wilshire's head. Wigan manager Roberto Martinez: "Charles N'Zogbia's actions were unforgiveable but we should look at the positives today, not negatives." Suggests he definitely won't be appealing anyway. Appeal would only see it extended for wasting (ha!) the FA's time wouldn't it? Almost certainly. Hopefully they appeal so that he's out for the derby as well. (or is that outside of 4 games) eh ? do you know something we don't ?
Dr.Spaceman
SHIT! Forgot about Charlies red. Might get something from this then. Although I have been saying that every time we play Wigan away, and we play like a bunch of fannies each time.
Vinny Green Balls
Truly amazing that 5 points separates us from last place, and from 7th place. Desperately need the points, to state the obvious. Am particularly worried about this one.
Pilko
Hopefully we'll sign Ben Arfa in time for this.
Robster
What we need to do is silence the home crowd in the first 15 minutes.... oh hang on.
ChrisJbarnes
a draw away from home at a ground we are shite at wouldnt be the worst result, considering wigan are on a bit of form. I'd certainly like to see us go out for and hopefully get the win.
ChrisJbarnes
Betclic are offering odds of 4-1 that the first goal scored will be a header. Now is it me or is that extremely good?
Mr Logic
We're going to win this one.. I think the Pardew factor will mean we turn over our share of equal and lesser teams.. but lose to most of the big teams.. opposite to Hughton really. Ryan_Taylor
No Ryan Taylor and Zog suspended(?) for them should improve our chances big time
Ketsbaia
Not only on Sunday, N'Zogbia has to miss other games too. Wigan are basically three players and he's the best one.
Mowen
Might head up to this depending on trains etc. Big, big game. Haven't been too concerned about the last two games but losing can't become a habit.

Theregulars
Hopefully we'll sign Ben Arfa in time for this. What you mean is Ben Arfa will hopefully miraculously recover in time for this. To be fair on one leg he's better than most of our team.

Mr Logic
We're going to win this one.. I think the Pardew factor will mean we turn over our share of equal and lesser teams.. but lose to most of the big teams.. opposite to Hughton really. Let me clarify, I'd hate to think I was responsible for your blepharospasm. It appears that we will be playing more direct football under Pardew, this may well leave us more exposed to counters and patient football - such as many of the better teams play so effectively. Alternativley our increased desire to attack may result in beating the poorer teams we've already succumbed to this season. I tried to condense all of this into a rather tongue in cheek observation called the 'Pardew factor' as I've come to realise many people on these boards won't read posts containing more than one sentence, not that I am suggesting for one moment you are one of them. Seriously I'm not. Honestly.. damn it now I have developed a blepharospasm.
