Guest MrSundlofer
Pretty sure I spotted Tiote walking around the pitch shaking hands after the match. Hopefully that's a good sign. So did I. Coloccini - man of the match.

Yorkie
Harper - 6. Suspect kicking as usual and not sure what he was doing with that disallowed goal. Simpson - 8. Attacked well, defended well. Taylor/Williamson - 7. Both did well. Coloccini - 9. Completely owned the entire West Ham attack. Enrique - 7. Good game. Barton - 9. Another fantastic performance. Tiote - 9. Bossed it. Nolan - 7. Decent performance with an excellent goal. Jonas - 6. Below-par, again, but not bad. Lovenkrands - 7. Played well. Best - 9. Superb performance. Ryan_Taylor
Hope none of the injuries are serious like Really doubt they are. All of them walked off reasonably comfortably. Pardew probably said at half time that if they felt anything at all to simply come off. True. Refuse to believe can actually get injured either

johnnypd
pardew deserves huge amount of credit for that - totally vindicated his decision to play best up front. as someone said in the prematch thread - he was arguably fighting for his newcastle career, having not scored a league goal for so long. i wouldnt go over the top and say he's done enough to make amends for a year of being crap - but you can't ask for anymore than that in one game. Barton and tiote were sensational in the middle. gap in quality between those two and west ham's bottlers was significant. And Colo and Enrique absolutely took the piss at the back - in fact they were more comfortable than in those easy championship games last season. west ham should go down playing like that. oh, and parker's shite. so embarrasingly over-rated in the media and by wham fans. Completely. The game itself was easier than 90% of our games last year, tbh. The first half, in-particular, was one of the worst performances i've ever seen from a side up here. Not discrediting our performance, though - we were very good.

CPL
I'll have a go with ratings Harper 6 Not much to do made a few decent stops Simpson 6.5 Linking better with Barton Colocinni -8 Immense! Cole didnt have a sniff! Looking really good Taylor 7 Solid Jose 8 Slow start but once he got going he was awesome great surging runs! Best left back we've had for a while Barton 8.5 Continuing his great form his set pieces and crossing is top notch , reminding me of Beckham with some of his deep crosses. Nolan 7.5 Battled well well taken goal Tiote 8.5 What a machine this guy is dominated the midfield and looked impressive going forward! Jonas 6.5 Seemed abit tired but made some runs but was one of the weaker performers tonight! Lovelypants 8 - Greatly taken goal and 2 great assists in first half deserve his wage packet tonight! Best 9.5 - What can you say... Hat trick on full debut in premiership! MOM Didnt miss Carroll one bit.

He made two terrific saves and kept a clean sheet man I honestly wouldn't give anyone less than an 8, as a team we were fantastic and no one had bad game. But i thought he got caught in possession a couple of times and his touch wasn't great on the whole. Carrying an injury, as has been blindingly obvious for weeks, makes his performances suffer. He wasn't bad though.
