Second half they will tire and we will nick it.

"Smith not good enough to play for Stevenage"

"Smith and Perch not good enough for League Two"

Two of my personal favourite knee jerks.

Smith showed last season he wasn't really championship level tbh.

Doesn't mean he's not good enough for Stevenage

We have no left footed player in our side. :harry:

Loven?

We're shit today, humping it to the moderately sized Best against 2 big centre backs. Brilliant. Smith and Perch are gash (obviously), there's only Colo, Barton & Williamson playing. Big trouble coming 2nd half if we play the same way.

That's not knee jerk, it's fact.

He looks like he'd struggle to get into their side on this display.

Let's get something straight here. We are playing route one against a league 2 team who face that every week. If their players were better they'd play at a higher level. Play fucking football against them, pull them out of position, get behind the. That shouldnt be that hard. Hang on, let's just hoof the ball long. No over reaction here but our use of the ball has been disgraceful. I don't mind if we lose this, I will mind if we lose playing like this.

What gameplan did Pardew set out to our players, or did we even have 1 because it looks like 11 randoms playing together currently.

This always happens when Nolan and Smith play as a midfield pair - smith goes missing cos he has no positional sense and Nolan can't play his natural game - get barton in there

Guthrie for Smith, or Ferguson for Smith and Barton into the centre; either would be a positive change for me.

this please

Williamson is all hoof. No wonder he couldn't get a game at Portsmouth.

He's being forced to hoof it as none of our midfield are showing for the ball.

He's done it all season, but I get your point though.
