Really hope the club do something about the papers blaming our fans like

Dragging our name through the mud, public apology needed and a permanent ban from SJP press conferences for those journo's who ran the story.

Same. There were videos of it online within minutes, there's no excuse for them to just accuse NUFC fans without even looking.

How ridiculous is it for grown men to run around a pitch like that btw?

Very ridiculous. Especially, if they're not getting paid five figure sums in terms of weekly wages for doing so, too.

Yeah,  i've made Bird aware too.  Not fair on Newcastle fans if they get accused for that s***.

Hope this this clears it up, should help the plod. Look at 1.36, 0.48 seems to show his face.

Was never a red tbh.

"TOON TOON BLACK AND WHITE ARMY!"

I find this whole story very amusing.  Flooring one of your own players cause he didn't give you his shirt, what the fuck like..

I don't think a single Newcastle fan went on to the pitch anyway did they?

Nope,  none.  Didn't even see a rebuffed attempt.

a few did

Really?  Where did they go over from?

Yes they did. I'm not going to post photos as they are lads I know but they were on the pitch.

I stand corrected.  I was keeping quite an eye out cos I thought if both sets of fans made it over it might kick off.  Turns out we managed that without any Newcastle fans involved anyway.

Apparently the lad is handing himself in tomorrow. At least, this is what Twitter is whispering in my ear.

His dads rung the papers and told them he's handing himself in.  Ie;  his parents saw his photo and are shopping him.  Either way,  glad he'll be bought to justice.

So no retraction of this then?

LOWLY Steveanage stunned Newcastle by knocking them out of the FA Cup.

And after this gutless Toon display one angry fan attempted to take his frustration out on the pitch by trying to knock out Stevenage player Scott Laird.
