Deuce
Surprised we've managed even 9 points, seems like far less. And 10 goals to boot! Good times, lads.
Interpolic
Newcastle United manager John Carver speaking to BBC match of the Day: "I'm devastated, I'm annoyed. I needed five to 10 minutes to calm down. Our guys gave every inch. But when you play Man Utd you have to concentrate for every minute and we didn't. "I think we had the best chances and you have to put one of those away. You just wonder if they will hit you on the sucker punch and they did. "I'm devastated for our guys. The goal at the end the way it came, young Abeid has learned a harsh lesson, he is learning the game. On Newcastle's first-half penalty shout: "It was a penalty. Mr Taylor has a decision to make. At the time I thought it was and usually your gut instinct is right." On alleged spitting between Papiss Cisse and Jonny Evans: "I haven't seen it." If it has happened is that something you will act on? "You can't do it can you, it's one of the worst things in football. I can't comment on it, I just know there was a fracas on the halfway line." Not as bad as I thought he'd go at Abeid tbh. He's still pointed the finger squarely at him and not mentioned that Krul could also have cleared the danger rather than setting Man Utd up for a goal. They were both at fault, not necessarily equally like, but he's chosen to point the finger at one of them and it's not surprising which one.

TRon
Abeid would have been better off not trying to help the defenders out. If he'd been stood back on the centre circle watching he'd not have put himself in the firing line.
Dan Gleebals
P10 W2 D3 L5 F10 A16 = less than 40 points over a season (less than 36 actually) - relegation form = probably rewarded with the job next season. Brilliant

AlanSkÃrare
If he stays we'll a) probably struggle to attract the players necessary to stay up next season, b) struggle to keep some of the players that keep our heads above water now and c) be in the hands of man more than likely to relegate whatever players are put in front of him. If Carver would only understand what he is in the process of doing here. Not only contribute to the now epic murdering of the club, but also damaging his own legacy, a legacy that was still respectable to some people who liberate him from any accountability under Pardew. I'll struggle with anyone who does Ashley's bidding, Keegan, Hughton, Nolan etc. showed the way, all somewhat dignified people.
mrmojorisin75
Charnley will look like an absolute sack of shite if they appoint Carvdew following his manager search statement like. Carvdew ticks none of the boxes he wanted, except the ones he didn't mention like being cheap and doing absolutely everything he's told of course. Which is exactly the reason he'll get the job on a permanent basis at the end of the season. his quotes again "It’s not a case of someone getting the job because he’s a friend of a friend or he knows someone. It is a proper structured process which I believe will in the end give us the best individual for the job." and "I know that the individual who comes in will be credible and best suited for this role. First and foremost, they have to be a good coach and with a track record of developing players and giving young players a chance is important. For me, style of play is important. How they conduct themselves is also important as the head coach will play a key part in how the club is perceived through his conduct on and off the field." not that anything these utter cunts say matters anyways but the above when boiled down could be shortened to "Not John Carver". That's if we were dealing with people who had reasonable relationships with the truth of course.

Memphis
Just noticed we average the fewest number of offsides per game by a large margin. Ordinarily you'd be pleased to avoid being caught offside but it so clear that the tactics we employ are so stilted (and our players so neutered and/or apathetic) we've stopped even making attacking runs that would end up offside. 1 West Ham 66 2 Everton 66 3 Southampton 63 4 Manchester City 63 5 Liverpool 60 6 Swansea 60 7 Manchester United 59 8 Chelsea 58 9 Sunderland 55 10 Stoke 53 11 Crystal Palace 53 12 Aston Villa 52 13 Queens Park Rangers 52 14 Burnley 50 15 Hull 50 16 West Bromwich Albion 49 17 Tottenham 47 18 Arsenal 46 19 Leicester 39 20 Newcastle United
AyeDubbleYoo
Yep, we don't make runs, and we don't have anyone to play the passes, and we rarely even have control of possession in the right areas.
