Wallace Posted March 18, 2015 Share Posted March 18, 2015 Chronicle keep denying that they are pushing Carver for the job and that may well be true now - but what they should be doing is writing articles highlighting exactly why he should never have a chance of getting the job, how generally incompetent he is and how there are much better candidates out there. I expect that Carver is one of their "insiders" who provides them with some insight into what is going on behind the scenes. Not sure about Ryder but I don't think the other journalists are pro Carver getting the job but they are not going to write too negatively of someone they probably know quite well and who feeds them information.
