James
While we are talking in this general area. In case you missed it, Patrick Kluivert had signed a contract with NEC Nijmegen (Dutch top-league football team) as an assistant coach for the period august 2010 - august 2011. One of his main tasks at NEC is to train the strkers. In his free time he keeps low-profile and you rarely read things about him in Dutch shownews (except e.g. some photos of his holidays). Although those things are never in the news, I know he does a lot of charity work. For example, Rossana and Patrick saved little puppy's in the past and they cooperate to give these dogs a better future. Also, I was contacted by dream4kids one day, a foundation who wants to cheer up seriously sick children by giving them a dreamday. One of the kids was Kluivert-fan and Kluivert agreed to help with the dreamday and made some time for the boy, to kick some ball and make a foto-shoot... And also for other kids he helps raising funds and 'make their day' by simply being there Example: http://i55.tinypic.com/vaxwm.jpg with Jacky http://i52.tinypic.com/wbf2mv.jpg with Rishi Kluivert might not have charity foundation, like Messi, Cruijff etc. rather; Patrick Kluivert does charity himself. http://www.patrick-kluivert.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=2203
Beren
It's alright, we won a trophy (well, glassy-looking certificate) in 2006. If only it were still around. Europe via 6th isn't impossible though. Liverpool's "resurgence" hype is balls/media pap. They're still horrendous away from home.

Mistle17
Europe would be fantastic, I think few could argue with that. But let's get real here. Did anyone in their wildest dreams ever think we'd be in this position after that awful day at Villa Park two seasons ago? I sure fucking didn't. Especially during our pre-season before the Championship- I would have been delighted with a play-off spot then. And besides, there's still a long way to go in which we have to play Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea, Villa and Everton in that period. Don't get your hopes up, but keep praying! Neil
Teressa Herrera or something like that? I seem to recall a thread with an amusing title of "Barton marches into Spain and takes control of the TH trophy"; I'm not sure if there was a particular joke there but it had me laughing. jukeboxromeo
There's a decent chance 6th might not even be enough. All depends on the semi-final draw and whether Birmingham/Bolton gets drawn against Stoke/West Ham. Even then, Man City might not get past Villa and Everton, meaning that there would be only 1 Champions League team in (Man Utd or Arsenal, presuming they beat Orient).
