TherealnorthernTOON
I really think bendtner would be a teriffic(sp?) asset for the club, with him beeing much better then carroll at finding space for trough balls, at the same time having the physical presence to get a header in. His technique is also alot better then carrolls.
Guest NewBoyPeetah
Although I would like him here (Bendtner) how realistic do we think he is as a signing? I mean he'd obviously get more than just our offer and from teams that are "bigger" than ours. Also are we likely to meet his wage expectations? arnonel
Ive said this before in another thread. I would be way more excited if we signed 17 talented 17-20 year olds at £2mill a pop.
Yorkie
I'd happily see us chuck ~£10m at Bendtner.

ponsaelius
Yeah. At Arsenal they have tests inwhich they measure a player's confidence. Apparently it helps Wenger decide whether to loan players out etc, and Bendtner actually scored off the scale in percieved self confidence http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/876069/nicklas-bendtner%27s-self-confidence-mark-off-the-scale?campaign=rss&source=soccernet&cc=5739 http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Nicklas-Bendtner-has-stunned-Arsenal-s-sports-psychologist-with-the-highest-self-confidence-rating-ever-recorded-article690591.html
AyeDubbleYoo
It's a good attribute for a striker IMO, you need to be able to forget your mistakes quickly. Disadvantages might be that he would annoy his team mates, and he comes across as a prick in the press.
taxfree
Bendtner for £10m? A white Ameobi, with a shitty attitude, for probably around half of what we're going to spend. No. Just no.

He's significantly better than Ameobi from what I've seen.

JH
tbf to him, he's been pushed out wider by Arsene. He's a decent player when played upfront, but his attitude sucks.

You might say that’s a problem, and to a certain degree it can be."

Punk77
http://www.teamtalk.com/premier-league/6742102/Elmander-hints-at-Bolton-exit No chance. He's almost thirty, and after a wonderful start on the season, he's settled at a lower level. We need players that have solid performances continually, not those who vary between superb and catastrophic. And he's been injury prone.
