He's the greatest striker I've ever witnessed in the flesh, and with me being a mere 24 years of age, and not a massive follower of international football, the induction of Shearer into any all time eleven, would be a given. Obviously, I, just as pretty much anyone on this board, have only ever seen shitty stock footage of him play. But his dribbling skills were very un-Englishlike in every way. Only saw both Matthews and Bobby Mitchell play in testimonials but the old folk used to say that Mitchell was the better of the two.
