Yorkie
Whilst it could be better it'll be refreshiing having nothing in the way of pointless piping. Really gets on my tits the needless little bits and pieces of stripes and pipes. Retro ftw. That's if there's any genuinity in this shirt.
Dave
You know what, having looked that the mock up a number of times now... I quite like it.
ChrisMcQuillan
It's nice apart from the sleeves.
Guest je85
It's ok, will make everyone's shoulders and chest look massive. Which way's the beach?
wormy
Agree with Dave, not too bad after seeing it a few times. Wouldn't mind it, as long as it's not a pure black back. Looked at Toon Hoser's re-post and had to go back to the OP just to double check it was the same one, 'cause I didn't remember it looking nearly as bearable. Kaizero
The deal-maker/deal-breaker is the back, as always.
Dave
The deal-maker/deal-breaker is the back, as always. I'd be very surprised if it isn't plain again, whatever the design. Makes people spend more money.

Guest jeffers09
Just gotten the new PhotoShop so tried f***ing around with the Nike French Kit and came out with this, needs a bit of touching up on the badge, logo & sponsor, and the colours are all too light/dark, but I reckon it would look alright. I wish Nike did our kits like. http://img830.imageshack.us/img830/3990/dzc3t7nc3.jpg Im in love
nemtizz
Whether it's real or not, it's not THAT bad. If the outer stripes were a tad thinner it'd look better.
The Quichà
It really is growing on me more and more, I hope its the real thing. To me it looks nice and simple and what I would expect our shirts to look like if they were made by Nike.
thomas
Would be the ugliest shirt in my closet.
adam1
whos to say it wont be the same on the back but with gold numbers?
Stifler
It really is growing on me more and more, I hope its the real thing. To me it looks nice and simple and what I would expect our shirts to look like if they were made by Nike. Me too, it's growing on me. I've always felt that more Black with White stripes is what our shirt should be, normally I would put another stripe in there but our shirt in the latter years of Sir Bobby's era had only 2 stripes and that was a classic and possibly our best modern strip. JH
Still think the black patch lets it down massively. Our best looking shirts in recent years have been: http://www.classicengland.net/christmas/images/kit7.jpg and http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/media/catalog/product/n/e/newcastle-05-home-use.gif because of the stand-out Northern Rock writing. It's simple stuff which would make the design on page one so much better.

M4
http://www.classicengland.net/christmas/images/kit7.jpg That one is my second favourite of the Adidas shirts I'd say. After the grandad collar of course.

Ronaldo
Love the NTL strips, but that's possibly because of that magnificent season in which they were used.

Dave
That's from last year's mockups. Think M4TT made that particular one.
