Lotus boss apparently tweeted he has lodged a bid to buy West ham. Possibly the third time new owners come in and ditch the charlatan?  ;D

Heard Allardyce on SSN saying he was the victim of new owners coming in at Newcastle and Blackburn, and losing his job had nothing to do with results. He obviously thought we were doing ok when he was here, but it seemed like one of the worst halves to a season i've experienced, certainly. The performances v Derby and Wigan summed his reign up for me.

Maybe he will buy Smith off us?  I'm serious btw.

Bet Parker really wants to stay now.  Fat Sham sold him straight away up here.

West Ham fans complaining about his appointment need a reality check. He's a Premier League manager actually stepping down a level. He should do well there, I can see promotion and Premier League survival for the Hammers under Big Sam.

The West Ham fans can't afford to be too precious about the type of football he plays. They've got to get promoted either this year or next or the few good players who've decided to stay will go and they'll have to do it with the kids.

SSN have just shown the odds for promotion for their division and there are some big old clubs down there all scrambling to get up. Burnley, Leicester, Birmingham, Boro, Cardiff, West Ham, Reading, Forest, Blackpool, Southampton et al will all feel they've got a chance if they can put a decent run of form together. Going to be a very tough league to get out of next season.

Do you endorse the board's decision to appoint Sam Allardyce as West Ham United's new manager? votes 378

Yes 85%

No   6%

Undecided   7%

Damn, didn´t expect that  :kasper: But then again, our poll on this forum when we hired him up must have been similar.
