Frediel >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Gomes

Who?

Brad Friedel looked average at best lest season, very slow and reactions starting to go.

why are you telling me about Brad Friedel when i clearly stated Frediel?

Thick as f***.

As always.

Why the hell are you insulting me for? simply because of a spelling error?

you knew full well who i was refering to and decided to ask me "who" like some smart arse so i responded in the same manner. How about you get drunk again, post on GG and get mocked. That's your style.

I'm surprised this transfer hasn't received more attention. City will be desperate to offload the player, if for no other reason that they've got to start trying to maximise their income with Financial Fair Play kicking in. However, it's difficult to get a big fee with the player saying he wants to be closer to his family in South America.

Then we have a Brazilian club offering a fee which is nearly four times the South American record - a sum that would have been considered totally out of their reach before. City announce that the deal is done, only for the Brazilians to withdraw, saying that it may get revived in January, presumably if the terms are right.

I can't be the only one wondering what's going on.

Enjoyed that.

Although to be fair I'd rather endure 1,763 days in solitary confinement than read another Cesc to Barcelona story.

 I will rejoice the day he's officially gone to Barcelona simply because it's the only way it will ever stop.

Always thought Ribery is one of the most overrated players of the past years. Remember when Madrid went close to pay €50m for him! One of the few moments of sanity Florentino has had lately was pulling the plug on that.

I agree.

I heard that from next year there is a big TV deal in Brazil and it was that money that they were planning to use to buy Tevez but as they have not got it yet, they wanted to defer payments until next year.

You're insane. And so is colinmk. Clearly shows you don't watch enough Ribery. Great player who's been injured so much of late but still produces loads.

You have to watch him to really like him, but although I hate using this as a convincing source, look at his stats. in 32 games last season he had 11 goals and 21 assists. Come on, be real. Overrated?

Robben is twice the player of Ribery.

He really isn't though. Robben might be a better player than Ribery but I wouldn't complain having Ribery in my team and calling him overrated is absurd since he's one of the best wingers in the world.
