Other clubs' transfers

They'll be fine this season. Too much quality to be in trouble, will get the odd surprise result against the top 6, but not good enough to be consistent. Reckon they might end about 9th though.

Silly signings for me apart from Mbia ... They are signing names that are at the wrong age and not potential .. They should really be using us as a blueprint .. but it seems they are copying us during Shepherd era .. we all know how that ended.

Gaston Ramirez to Southampton, £11.8m accepted.

Decent player, not sure if he's cut out for the Premiership though. Seen him on a few occasions and been impressed with some parts of his game, has a beast of a left foot on him. Thought he looked a bit slow and maybe not dynamic enough for the Premier Leauge. Also listed to BBC WFPI where Tim Vickery, who's seen loads of him, said he didn't think he'd suit the Premier League at all.

Crazy that he turned down Spurs because they weren't offering him enough money to go to Southampton.

Doing the "Mo" Farah before even "Mo" Farah did the "Mo" Farah.

11m, they'd better hope he adjusts well.

They must be paying him a canny wedge too, he turned down Spurs because he didn't like the wages he was offered.

Ha ha, as if any player ever turns down Spurs!
