Rumours Shay Given is going to Doncaster on loan.

Crikey. Surely he can do better than that?

6-12 months before they went down Doncaster were only 2-3 players away from promotion. The football they played was very good and if they had have kept a few of their players instead of selling them they would have went up instead of going down. If they play to a similar way and invest wisely I wouldn't rule them out coming up within the next few years. They have a really good scouting system, they buy unheard of players who work so well and play good attacking football.

I think it could actually be a good send off for Given to go there.

Sky sources: Tom Ince declines offer to join Cardiff City

I can see why he has declined Cardiff because he could get a better club but he really does need to move on to further his career. He needs to stay clear of the likes of Man City or Chelsea who will just ruin his career.

Rumours re Chelsea offering us 25m plus Lukaku on loan for a year.

Given that, were we to keep Benteke a year, and he did well, he'd be off next season anyway, if they were stupid enough to offer us that, I think I'd be tempted to take it.

Can't believe this. Lukaku imo is the more talented player, and is three years younger!

I think you lot should try and get a swap deal of some sort. They'll probably then be back for Lukaku next summer at £30 million.

ROMELU LUKAKU has rejected a loan move to West Ham after Jose Mourinho promised the young Belgian he would get first-team action

That's a shame. If the likes of Villa and West Ham were in for him then we definitely should have been too.

Mourinho has brought in the likes of De Bruyne, Omeruo, and Lukaku back from their loans last season and there has been all sorts of talk from the club and the players about how they are ready for the first team squad, yet Chelsea are constantly buying new expensive players in their position. It is the same with Moses. Some of his performances last season accompanied with his age would lead you to believe he is a big player for Chelsea in the future, yet they seem to want to ditch him as well. Very odd all around.

If any scraps fall from the behemoth, we need to be there on top of it, because all of the ones they've signed are good players and would improve our team.

Cardiff are having  a mare in the transfer window  ;D  8 million for Danish youngster and led on by Wanyama and Ince.

The thing is they scored few goals last season, their two big money signings Campbell and Maynard were injured soon after purchase, it was the fact they let in so few goals that brought them up and the fact that no team capitalised when they faltered.

They will find the defense will not hold the same in the Prem and goals will be at a premium even with their two 'star' strikers back.

They do not have a like-for-like understudy for Alonso, so they'll keep him. They are starting to have a bit too many players to keep everybody happy though.

Fucking Norwich man.

Showed some ambition, punched above their weight and it paid off.  Fair play to them.

Oh, aye, not doubting that. Just seeing one your least favourite clubs (lived there for a while - wanky fans) taking steps to progress whilst we appoint Joe fucking Kinnear is enough to boil your piss.

Why did Fer not move to Everton btw? Was it something to do with a failed medical?
