Hanshithispantz
Just ever so slightly clip the bar (like kiss it) and smash the net = Dinks off the inside of the post too, ala Cantona & RvP v the Mackems (although Robin's obviously never actualy went in, but who cares)

Sifu
What a lovely free kick. Worked his socks off tonight and played really well alongside Tiote. i'd like to know how far he ran tonight even though he came off early, looke totally f***ed. I'm sure there'll be some stats about it later on.

Ryan
Such an amazing strike. Went absolutely mental when it went in. Needs a proper chant for him tbh, no one seems to know the 'everybody knows his name' one
Mick
I love watching Cabaye, he can play a brilliant ball one minute then gets stuck in the next.

LesPaul
Was great today. If we can get that out of him and Tiote on a regular basis we're onto something!

Sifu
Cabaye: "One Of My Best" By Anthony Marshall - Newcastle United Club Reporter Yohan Cabaye's stunning free-kick helped put Manchester United to the sword on Wednesday night, and the midfielder believes it was one of his best. With the second half only a couple of minutes old, Cabaye curled a 25-yard strike into the top corner to give Newcastle their second goal in a memorable 3-0 win. And the French international, who has now found the back of the net three times since signing in the summer, explained after the final whistle that hard work on the training pitch paid off when it mattered. "It is one of my best free-kicks," he told nufc.co.uk. "I used to score a few in France, and I practice them a lot in training, but in a game is totally different. "When I saw the ball in the goal I was so happy for the team, for the whole of Newcastle, and it was an important goal. "It was important, not just for me, but for the team as well because it was the second goal and just at the start of the second half." The win leaves Newcastle just three points off fifth-placed Arsenal in the Premier League table, and Cabaye believes it was an excellent way to kick off 2012. "It is a very, very good result for us and a brilliant start to the new year," he said. "For me, it is the best game and the best win since I have been at Newcastle. I was very happy to be on the pitch tonight. "There was five or ten minutes in the second half where we were under pressure and fortunately for us Simmo saved the ball on the line. "But after that we stayed strong and worked very hard."

Benwell Lad
I love watching Cabaye, he can play a brilliant ball one minute then gets stuck in the next. That makes him a great player, like having a Coloccini in midfield.
AlanSkÃrare
Let him take free kicks from now on. Hope he grows into the league over the spring and starts dominating games like he did at Villa.

Tiresias
Phillipe Auclair on Guardian's football weekly saying in france everyone is surprised how successful he's been, apparently they thought he was good but not as good as he's been here and that he wouldn't settle in so quickly. If that's the opinion in france can't hurt his international standings, as I imagine would have been his main worry.
Kanj
His defensive side is great too, he has a quick foot on him to nip in and tackle the ball and break up play.
