Guest neesy111
We just haven't got a good enough target to aim for anymore with Carroll gone and Nolan's presence on the goalkeeper gone. It'd help if the corners were decent though as this season quite a few have been awful by him.
Lenny
He could learn a lot from Gerrard on Sunday about how to control and dictate a game, something he has rarely done for us. Not saying he's faultless or anything this season but it's gotta be hard for him to dictate games where he's either watching balls float over his head all game or out numbered in the middle. Disco
Too busy tapping up his marra's to bother working on his game I heard.
Guest firetotheworks
It depresses me watching him pick up the ball from the defense. It's like hiring an artist to emulsion your walls.

Guest WashyGeordie
Somewhat ironic that since the "perfect corner" toss was mentioned, our corners have become beyond awful. They've been awful since we got promoted tbf. The corner set-piece against the mackems caught them right off-guard tbf, where we crossed it low into Colo. Nearly scored! The College Dropout
The Cabaye/Tiote partnership is far better than we give it credit for. Even when it's 3 against 2 in midfield they put up a decent fight. Tiote allows Cabaye to play that little bit further up and Cabaye allows Tiote to play a more simplistic game. Without Tiote, Cabaye plays ridiculously deep. Since AC/Nolan/Barton left everything about our set-pieces have been terrible. Cabaye shouldn't be taking them, he's shit at indirect freekicks. It's pathetic the way it's actually a good idea to bring on Raylor because he can put in a good set-piece. Only for Willo to waste it. Nobody goes to the front post. Shit all over. He's not going to get 100 touches in a game full stop but it's dropping deeper where he'll get the ball more often (in theory).

ATB
Completely different player when playing in a offensive position were he can link up the defense and offensive. He´s just so wasted when playing deep.

Cheshire Mag
Very good take and looked better today. Hopefully he'll be fit for next weekend. Agreed. Looked to be playing in a more advanced role today. 2 in the last 3 for him now, what we have been crying out for from him.
