Tiresias
Drop Cisse Drop liability in front of goal
Guest hatem garrincha
Swap Cabaye and Anita and yeah. Cabaye's an attacking midfielder, he wants to be further forward. He isn't an attacking midfielder, he's basically the same type as Anita with different attributes. Agreed. And He's finally better when he plays deep imo. nufc4eva
Drop Cisse Drop liability in front of goal Having a hard time at the moment but wouldn't rule him out going on massive scoring run at some point. Making the runs, at times yesterday he was getting into space and the pass never came.
nufc4eva
Marveaux was just quality last night. So was Anita to be fair, really good games from both of them. Hope both can push on now because they certainly have the technical ability
Tiresias
I'm not necessarily for dropping Cisse, but it's not a ludicrous suggestion

And He's finally better when he plays deep imo. he's the midfilederest of midfielders, not out and out attacking not really box to boxy and not a DM. but he's very effective at what he does, linking both, providing a springboard for attacks and protecting the defence, anita can imo do similar, from what we have and all fit cabaye-tiote-anita for me. Guest Poz
Cisse and Ba are interchangeable but definitely not a strike 'partenership' Marveaux through the middle gives us the pace we have lacked IMHO
Dokko
Cisse and Ba are interchangeable but definitely not a strike 'partenership' Marveaux through the middle gives us the pace we have lacked IMHO Don't think he's particularly pacey, just has the ability to take the ball forward regardless if there's a man in the way or not. Yep. Good feet, close control, low centre of gravity.
Kanji
His runs with the ball versus Wigan were glorious displays of skill in slow motion

Kanji
If he can stay fit, and Anita & Tiote can continue to build a good partnership in the centre of the park, we have a very good midfield trio on our hands. The key here is Marv can effectively dribble, create and has a decent shot on him to be a perfect link to Cisse/Ba/HBA ahead of him.
Ikon
Worried that he will be dropped for Ben Arfa against Fulham, when it actually should be Jonas who should be dropped.
durhamunigeordie
Given our record at Fulham and Cisse's current form i'd like to see Marv and Hatem either side of Ba, with Tiote, Anita and Jonas in the centre.
Ikon
I actually think that if we play Marveaux in front of Tioté and Anita we'll not lose possession as easily as we'd do without him there, therefore i i think we'll be stronger defensively as a team on the whole, as we will not invite pressure as much because of us losing the ball all the time. Attack is the best way to defend sometimes. Ben Arfa in for Jonas, anything else would be stupid imo.
durhamunigeordie
Could work, can't see Pardew doing it away from home though.

Smal
massive disappointment that he wasn't able to follow up on such an excellent display on Monday. Looked knackered and the pitch definitely didn't help the way he likes to play.
toondra
think he didn't care about this game/didn't want to get an injury hard for him to know he won't play monday too
Dr Venkman
He won't play on Monday, Pardew is a safety first manager and it'll be much easier to just play Jonas.
Beren
Nee chance he'll play 3 games in 8 days.
Gallowgate Toon
He's going to be inconsistent for the sheer fact he's barely played competitive football for the best part of 2 years. He should still play on Monday though and I have a feeling he will.
