Sifu
Got to say, I'm actually quite disappointed/surprised that Beckham hasn't been selected for the GB squad. The man did play a major role in getting the Olympics to London so some sort of recognition would have been appropriate. Olympic Football isn't that competitive/intensive (from what I've seen anyway) so think Beckham would have been able to cope anyway. If the squad does resemble what was the last page, then I would be content with that.

Cronky
It's only fair on the other players that the squad and the team are picked on merit. If Beckham isn't good enough, he shouldn't be there. He's had his opportunities and his moments of glory. Some younger, up and coming players will now get theirs.

Kaizero
How does Victor Moses qualify now he's played for Nigeria ? He played in competive matches or friendlies? You can still change even after appearing in friendlies now. Needs to be a competetive match for you to stay bound to a nation.

Unlike Beckham they both played at a reasonable level last season. I like Becks but there is nothing wrong with this decision.

So you genuinely think that McEachran, Cleverley or Rodwell are all better than Beckham? You must think very highly of them or think Beckham is crap, either way you would be wrong
Guest sicko2ndbest
Pearce is a egotistical t*** who has done nothing to earn his position! This job should have been given to a top young coach with a good track record, not somebody who is still living off their pizza commercial and a few fist pumps! In footballing, personal and popularity terms this was the wrong decision

The 3 he has picked - Richards, Giggs and Bellamy - are all better than Beckham.
Guest Roger Kint
Have to agree with Sewelly here. Quite enjoying the collective media crying since this emerged, grown men claiming they only bought tickets for 'Becks' fucking idiots
