Guest bimpy474
Seems absurd that Colo's been out for 7 weeks and his natural replacement Mbiwa hasn't started a game in that time. It must be all those clean sheets we've had in that time. That's the worst thing about it. Willo/Mym were looking a good partnership before Colo was coming back into contention, in turn caused a bit of a stir that he would be dropped. Then Taylor comes back from injury and just fucks everything up because he's absolutely useless. Pardew is just as clueless for not realising how bad he is regardless or not if the protection in front of him is wafer thin, Mym coped perfectly well with it. Seems like everytime these sustained batterings come along, Taylor is one of the two in the partnership. It is amazing that Pardew still doesn't see it. It's not that amazing when you think about it. Well yes i suppose you're right.
Incognito
So is anyone going to trawl the dark and distant archives to find any "I love Pardew" posts by anybody?
Ronaldo
I just think it's a bit embarrassing that the captain of NUFC can't even control his wife. Why the f*** he still has the armband is beyond me. Feeble attempt to appease a finished player at the expense of the club. Can't conrol his wife and he's a finished a player. What a man I'm glad you looked back as I really couldn't be arsed with it. Proof is there that you thought he was finished, of course it's not like you to pretend something didn't happen though. I've said a hundred times that I don't rate any of the 4 CBs. Colo being a pale and distant shadow of what he was doesn't mean he shouldn't be starting ahead of crap like Mike Williamson, though. Colo is still our most reliable performer when fit, despite your clear hatred for him just because he wants to go back home for personal reasons. Ronaldo
Hatred. I've argued the case for him being our best ever defender not 3 days ago, man. I just think he's not the player he was in addition to being a deplorably bad club captain.

Never mind, we'll agree to disagree 'cos I can't be arsed with your usual wummery.
Ronaldo
Aye, play that card. We're all just having a laugh us lot with the downright cheek to critically assess NUFC players.

Guest Howaythetoon
Ron was sticking up for Colo during his first season where he was fucking shit to be honest, there is no agenda here like. He speaks his mind and says what he sees, I just wish more posters did the same instead of fannying on with trying to keep a level headed reputation or sitting on the fence. I slagged Colo rotten during his first season, but he has since won me over to the point where now, he has become the best CB I've seen for us. Today, however, he isn't quite that same player and as a Captain, he is poor to say the least. He leads by example in many ways, but I feel as our most experienced player, most expensive player and one of our longest serving, he could be a better leader. He ain't finished though as a player and he is still our most important player, first name on the team-sheet for me when fit.
Hanshithispantz
Colo wasn't shit in his first season imo anyway. He had a shaky second half of the season when we were pretty much mentally down already, the same with Enrique who allowed himself to get caught on the ball in dangerous areas too often, the low points stick in the memory. Paully
Great to have him back and the best CH I've seen at SJP! He oozes class and brings calmness to the back 4!
Guest chopey
We are a totally different team with Colo in it, I still think Woodgate was better tho.
Gallowgate Toon
Think if Pardew had done the right thing and played MYM instead of Taylor then Colo wouldn't be walking straight back in. I just don't understand what's happened with MYM, he played well in Colo's last absence and that incredible clearance against Spurs showed more heart for the cause than Steven bloody Taylor ever has. sempuki
Looking forward to seeing Colo back (although hopefully not next to Taylor).
loki679
Willo's been in decent form and if Taylor isn't playing he whinges like a bairn and his agent goes running to the press. MYM doesn't seem like the kind of person to kick up a fuss so I think Pardew finds it easier to drop him.

1964
Class apart today, he has the ability to take the ball away from a striker that is as good as I have seen
Mick
He was head and shoulders above anything on the pitch and was the difference between winning or not.
Pata
First game in a long time against Benteke and Agbonlahor, the type of strikers he apparently can't handle anymore. Incredible performance.
