Village Idiot
Don't they have Arbeloa who can play there? What's the current first choice centre back partnership anyway? Pepe and Ramos? Is Carvalho no more first choice? Carvalho has been a perma-crock this season, and to be frank when fit he hasn't done well. Age has finally caught up. Mou doesn't fancy Arbeloa, and they have no cover for the left if he starts on the right anyway. So they really need a fullback.

I know that Coentrao (spelling?) plays a lot as a DM for Madrid but he is a normal left back iirc.
Village Idiot
Heh, completely blanked him out due to the fact he plays so much in DM nowadays. So yeah, there's Coentrao. Still, RB is their weakest position so the link makes sense.
David28
Agree. If there's anything they need than it's RB.

Village Idiot
Sevilla derby tomorrow, can't wait for it. It's the most passionate rivalry in Spain, and the two years without it should make it even more intense.

Only just another prove that the next El Clasico has to be a Madrid win then.

Village Idiot
Our appeal process is a joke, it just looks like they decide on a coin throw. Well, actually they don't. They usually only overturn cards that didn't affect the outcome of the game (i.e., the aggravated side ended up winning), they almost never rescind a card that would imply that the ref changed the result.
