jdckelly
so people complaining about no signings now complaining about a possible signing? give the guy a chance (if its true)
Skirge
Fkn hell they are calling him a striker, I mean serious is this the best we can do. Not underwhelmed fkn sickened more like it Bit OTT Well maybe a little but is this really the best we can do? We need a left back & striker not another winger
SUPERTOON
routledge v2 He is better than Routledge.
Willow
I like this signing. Now get a striker in and and a left back and I won't be as suicidal
JH
Where the hell does he play btw? Wing?
KaKa
Not at all suprised that the majority of people are now whinging about this btw. Awesome.
Neil
Obertan will be surrounded by fellow young talented French players at Newcastle, and will get a chance to play. If that doesn't get him comfortable and help him loosen up and express himself then nothing will. Seems to be a bit like Routledge. Needs to get over the hump! Bordeaux and Man U did have a lot more talent in fornt of him though, so this would be a real good opportunity.
Sifu
Where the hell does he play btw? Wing?

Froggy
routledge v2 Routledge is better.
LooneyToonArmy
according to a Man Utd forum...he's injured and will miss the first month a la Barnetta.
jdckelly
Where the hell does he play btw? Wing? right wing whenever I've seen him and football manager tells me he can play on the left too
Guest Heneage
Interested to see him play.
NEEJ
He's s****, man. Based on what?
Skirge
IF we see him and Routledge's replacement then maybe just maybe its an upgrade but well pah
timeEd32
He clearly has talent, but he's barely played for a few years. Still only 22. Always leery of Fergie's castoffs, but to me this is a little different than someone like Smith or Butt. Seems pretty clear to me that he's been signed as a replacement/upgrade on Routledge. Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
He's s****, man. Based on what? I've seen him a few times for Man United. But in all fairness to him, getting more football could do good things for him. He was highly rated in France was he not?
thedudeabides
Utter shit whenever I've seen him. A young Pancrate.
SUPERTOON
http://www.redcafe.net/f9/obertan-loan-newcastle-336781/ Man Utd views.
Cronky
The first couple of times I saw him, he looked decent. More recently, he's struggled to make an impact. Obviously, if you're not playing regularly, it's difficult to hit form. And Man U must have seen something in him in the first place.
Tooj
Call me a cynic, but if we sign Obertan, I can realistically see Jonas being on the way out.
LionOfGosforth
Wonder what the fee is?
Geordie Ahmed
The lad has some impressive skills, was highly rated before joining Man-U Maybe, just maybe we can get the best out of him I read that he has had a canny pre-season so not happy enough with this signing BUT we still need a bloody striker
taxfree
so people complaining about no signings now complaining about a possible signing? give the guy a chance (if its true) What kind of logic is that? Of course we want new players, but that doesn't meen we want shit.
