GavMcEl
I used to hate him but he's won me over. Deserves player of the season IMO #TeamBlob. This ! Think he deserves it !

Greg
He was shite. Was he fuck. He was. One or two good games but cost us quite a few points. No command of his box, very slow off his line. He's a League 1 standard 'keeper at best. Shite. Get rid.
Mick
He was s****. Was he f***. No, he was shit. Can't you read?

Yorkie
Calling him League 1 is pretty harsh, like. He had some good games and made some decent saves, but was pretty unmemorable on the whole. It was a terrible fucking season.
Greg
Anyone that thinks he's anything other than not good enough is either thick or knows nothing about football. Winning club player of the season after that season means nothing.
Beren
He was average. He's also a prat. The award means nothing this year, should have given it to Armstrong or Tavernier.
nemtizz
Tavernier? Why not give it to Hatem.

Greg
Should have just cancelled the competition.

I'm not sure you can claim he's a league 1 player and have the audacity to the suggest others are thick and don't understand the game.
Greg
Well we did sign him from League 1.... He was one of the worst 'keepers in the Premier League last season.
Marmoset
He's a perfectly adequate number 2 for a premier league team or a decent first choice for championship. League one standard is a bit daft.
Incognito
I'm with Greg. Too slow, badly positioned mainly. Only stopped shots by being an overweight out of shape blubbering Pardew loving mess basically. League 1 keeper all day. Third best keeper at the club. Take any money for him and fuck him off. Greg
He's a perfectly adequate number 2 for a premier league team or a decent first choice for championship. League one standard is a bit daft. 3rd choice he's just about okay I guess. A fair few Championship 'keepers are a lot better than him, League 1 is slightly harsh perhaps. But he really isn't very good, poor positioning, slow of his line, doesn't command his box.
Shak
Pardew bumboy. For that alone he can fuck off. Third best keeper at the club, the fact that he won player of the season tells you everything about how shite our year was.
triggs
I think he's better than Darlow at the moment
Greg
I think he's better than Darlow at the moment No way. Darlow's all-round game, on crosses and coming off his line and sweeping up balls is far, far superior and that was clear in the last few games of the season. There is a lot more to 'keeping than shot stopping, which is where Elliot's game is shockingly bad.
Mick
I think he's better than Darlow at the moment I don't, neither are perfect but Darlow has better movement. Get him fit and then bin him.
Marmoset
Pardew bumboy. For that alone he can f*** off. Third best keeper at the club, the fact that he won player of the season tells you everything about how s**** our year was. Man taken from league one to premier league by manager, is grateful, subsequently refuses to slag off manager to stranger in a nightclub. Hardly crime of the century. Greg
Darlow certainly not good enough to be our number 1 long term, but I would be happy with him as 2nd choice if he's happy to sit on the bench. It's going to be very interesting time for Tim Krul, he was in poor form for quite some time before his injury. If he can come back and regain full fitness and form then all the better but it will be a worry if he can't and we'll need to look for a long term replacement.
