Realistic Transfer Targets

Chelsea need the money now. Top players are extremely expensive and they need some cash in hand. Maybe we could agree a fee for him for £25-30m to be paid next year.

Would rather have Lejeune/Lascelles. Very well balanced pairing, we don’t need to spend a fortune on a back up player.

We need quality to push them like. Wasn’t convinced at all last season with Clark. Zouma would be great.

Not really though. He'd either cost a fortune, or require a first team position if loaned. There's absolutely no way anyone should be convinced Zouma could step in and form a better partnership with another than the one we already have. Yes we need an Mbemba replacement if he leaves, but Kurt Zouma is not that man imo.

The fact that Porto quible over a £8m fee for Mbemba and Merino insisted on a £10m release clause makes me think there must be a lot of players available for relatively small fees in European leagues. Outside of the big clubs the majority of clubs aren't buying expensive players off each other. I'd have thought with Rafa's contacts he'd be able to source some potential bargains. I'm sure the selling club asks a premium price when a Premiership club comes calling. Player release clauses can be triggered by any club. The more a player costs the more likely they'll be the quality required but there will also be cheaper players who become successful in the Premiership.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Carl Corts half brother, Loved that guy. What's his value after the WC you reckon?

He's openly spoken about moving on due to lack of opportunies, What with his brothers link and Rafa being up here reckon we'd be in with a shout.

Far too expensive now. Should have sanctioned the deal we had in place last summer.

Hope we put in a bid for Nicolas Pepe from Lille, after the last few signings they've made (Ikoné/Bamba/Remy) it looks like he could be on the way out, was in incredible form towards the end of the season playing on the right of a front four so he'd fit right in if Ritchie does leave.

Would probably cost 20m+ so it's unlikely but he'd be a much more exciting signing then Townsend

Would love us to go after Alphonso Davies. I think Manure might have first option on him though. Kid has ridiculous upside.

He’s a talented kid. Would probably benefit from a couple seasons in a league like the Eredivisie.

would anyone take a punt on chadli?

Must be better players out there abroad for much less money.

relegated west brom, what could they reasonably expect?

Wasn’t he linked with a £14m move to wolves?

he'd be a great buy at that price imo
