Guest Haris Vuckic
He cares enough to give an incompetent manager a long term contract never seen before in football and appoint a buffoon as a DoF/next manager, then another one as his "assistant" to meddle with the one area that was arguably working reasonably well for us, all out of sheer spite. Incompetent manager. Just after he finished 5th. Tit.

Incompetent manager. Just after he finished 5th. Tit. Pardew had another three or four years on his contract at that point. There was absolutely no need to offer him an eight year one. Also, I have defended Pardew on here more than most, but if you want to put your trust in someone long term for the sake of stability, Pardew is not that man by any reasonable measure, fifth place or no fifth place. I mean, what exactly are his credentials for long term, sustainable improvement over time at any club?

ikri
I've erred on the side of 'better the devil you know' for a good while but just wish this cunt would fuck off now. It's like he's learned nothing. He's learned how to piss the fans off pretty effectively

Ronaldo
It was only 5 weeks ago people were sticking up for this prick on here. That's ultimately the reason we're in the shit. People forgive and forget and shift the blame to easier targets.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2013/jul/28/sports-direct-staff-zero-hour-contracts That's becoming more and more common tbf although 90% seems ridiculous. I don't agree with it, but he's not the first to offer such a thing and he won't be the last.
Andymc1
There's absolutely no story there. In retail, on the shop floor, the majority of staff will be on zero hour contracts. As for those on disciplinary not getting a bonus then that is also a common occurrence - things like bad sickness always go against staff.

Other retailers to confirm that they do not employ staff on these terms include Argos, B&Q, Homebase, John Lewis and Marks & Spencer."

So how many companies does that leave who do have zero hour contracts? They are ridiculously common, I can't believe the Guardian is printing this stuff. WarrenBartonCentrePartin
When I worked at Tesco as a student we didn't do zero hour contracts, but we did take on a bunch of sixth formers and stick them on 3 hour Sunday contracts, which isn't exactly brilliant. It does seem high but I was just looking at some stuff on the internet there and there was a BBC article saying 300,000 care workers in the UK are on those contracts It's a cheap shit shop though which is why it's hardly surprising.
