Colback was typically anonymous for Ipswich though Wickham was a constant threat. Great scenes.

Andy84
22 years ago. We did used to be a football club
Robster
Thankfully, even though it was 22 years ago, I can still remember exactly how I felt at that time. It's isn't much compared to the successful clubs who win trophies but I loved those days and wouldn't swap them for anything else.
morla84
22 years ago today I started supporting the toon while listening to us win 7-1 on the radio at the age of 8. Little did I know what I was letting myself in for

Guest
Probably the last real time we were a proud club. After that, we limped along for 12 months under Shepherd/Roeder and then the Ashley regime.
Superior Acuña
Think Shearer was a big part of why the s*** years then were nothing like as bad as now. Partly they were just less bad, but Alan always gave us a special connection. Felt emotional that testimonial night. Also - Speed edit: I'd never noticed that Neil Lennon played

Superior Acuña
9 years man. There are fully sentient (still idiots but can have conversations and bully and that) beings alive that weren't alive for Shearer playing for Newcastle.
Colos Short and Curlies
20 years ago the debut of Sir Les and the birth of the greatest team never to win a trophy! 14 years ago the debut of Robert and Bellemy. Really doesn't seem that long ago for either.

Scottish Mag
Have seen a few tweets etc about Owen being paraded at St James Park 9 years ago today. I remember being more chuffed that Nobby was re-signing! http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Football/Pix/pictures/2009/12/22/1261489760881/Nolberto-Solano-001.jpg

Colos Short and Curlies
Wathced that game with a light concussion after being booted in the face playing football earleir in the day - fractured eye socket to boot, but still kept a clean sheet! Then pulled a lovely Northern Irish lass later in the evening. Great night all round
KDT
Wasn't that shown on the ITV News channel? Pretty sure it's wasn't on normal ITV as my SKY box kept losing signal during the game.
