Was there that day. Colback was typically anonymous for Ipswich though Wickham was a constant threat. Great scenes.

Thankfully, even though it was 22 years ago, I can still remember exactly how I felt at that time.

It's isn't much compared to the successful clubs who win trophies but I loved those days and wouldn't swap them for anything else.

Probably the last real time we were a proud club. After that, we limped along for 12 months under Shepherd/Roeder and then the Ashley regime.

Think Shearer was a big part of why the s*** years then were nothing like as bad as now. Partly they were just less bad, but Alan always gave us a special connection. Felt emotional that testimonial night.

Have seen a few tweets etc about Owen being paraded at St James Park 9 years ago today.  I remember being more chuffed that Nobby was re-signing!
