madras
have to say, as poor as we were at times today, some of the link ups between jonas and ben arfa were very good. fulham couldn't tackle either today, with a differernt strikeforce we would have been home and dry by half time. how many times have i heard that today( well yesterday) The question you should be asking yourself is, how many times will you be hearing that until the ACN is over. hoping none, predicting at least 2 or 3. TRC
I thought Cisse was more of a number 9?
Geordie Ahmed
Aye, swap Cisse with Ba and that is Maybe Guthrie instead of Jonas as I think he would work better in a 3 man midfield
TRC
I'm a bit reluctant to put Ba there as he is out top scorer.
Geordie Ahmed
From the little I have seen of Cisse I don't think he would be suited to the wide role, think Ba played there for West Ham Though I think Pardew will stick with the 4-4-2 so neither will have to go out wide
Guest neesy111
I'm reluctant to play 3 in midfield while Danny Simpson is still a starter.
Skirge
As much as I think as an attacking force at home this woyld be superb and just not sure we would cope at the back. It does drop into a nice 4-4-2 though --------------Krul Simo----Willi-----Colo-----Santon --------------Tiote ---Cab--------------------Jonas -------------Benny ----Cisse---------------Ba ========================== --------------Krul Simo----Willi-----Colo-----Santon Jonas----Cab-----Tiote-----Benny ---------Cisse--------Ba
Guest neesy111
Playing 3 in midfield requires having 2 really good full-backs to provide width.
Guest schmuck
Aye but with Cissokho or similar at lb for natural width, I'd jizz my pants at the prospect of option A. It might only click once a season, but my word what a tonking we'd hand out. In the League Cup. To Crewe. Before going out on penalties.
Hanshithispantz
That is such a fucking ridiculous reward though. We've seen like 20 seconds of each game
Numbers
"Ben Arfa will receive a commemorative Budweiser Player of the Round trophy and he will also be invited to The FA Cup Final at Wembley in May as a guest of The FA and Budweiser." Guest
He's put PSG in their place, basically saying that to the French they might seem a big club but to everyone else they're just a normal club. He also said Tevez going there would be like HBA going to a big Swiss team.

Guest icemanblue
Everything we've seen of Cisse suggests that he's a finisher, a poacher who plays on the shoulder of the last man. How this equates to 'winger', is beyond me.
AyeDubbleYoo
Out of all our attackers, it seems Cisse is by far the most suited to the main striker role. Ba is capable of playing deeper if required.
