When you watch him for 90 minutes there's a lot of the time it isn't working. He's a good player, but his technique is a world away from anyone like Ben Arfa. Oh absolutely. It's a scattergun approach. Maybe it's best to go for that rather than try and improve his decision-making for someone like Walcott. Not a very long term plan however. Guest VanBarduck Posted August 9, 2013 Share Posted August 9, 2013 He always had that exeptional acceleration , the thing that always impressed me the most it's the feeling that he doesn't seem to run, he just slide on the pitch for 10 or 15 meters, you can't even see his feet, they barely touch the ground. The main problem is that he hates running when he doesn't have the ball, he tracks back without any conviction and he doesn't make late-run beating the offside trap, he just want the ball at his feet.
