NUFC transfer rumours in the press

Recommended Posts

Some 'good news' in the Journal tomorrow according to Mark Douglas. Probably just the (old?) comments from Carr about trying not to sell anyone.

Good news is that we haven't sold anyone and him and Lee Ryder are still on the case to find out via everyone else who we are after.

The journal 'good news' story is that debuchy wants to come here.

We'll see.......we'll see.

Quotes? Or the usual 'sources close to the player'

L'Equipe: #NUFC face comp from Valencia, Bayern & Inter for Debuchy, but none offered more than €5m. Lille would accept €8m. Still bargain

Didn't Valencia just buy another RB? And would Debuchy be interested in a bench role at Bayern? No way he would get in that starting XI.

Think Sky are just following all the old links..... Valencia wont buy another RB they dont have the finances, he would ride the bench at Bayern i dont think those two are even involved.

Inter probably are tbf but they are not the Inter have a few years ago and they finished 6th last season add to that Debuchy has said on many occasions he wants to play in England.

Tbh i think he will move to England unless Real Madrid come in..... does'nt necessarily mean we will get him because its possible Man U will get involved but these teams dont concern me.

Celtic starlet Victor Wanyama is a target for a host of Premier League clubs and is hopeful of sealing a move to England this summer, Sky Sports understands.

Liverpool, Stoke City, Queens Park Rangers, Newcastle and West Ham United are all interested in landing the Kenyan midfielder.

Wanyama joined Celtic last summer from Belgian side Beerschot AC but his impact has been huge at Parkhead.

Celtic paid less than £1million for the 20-year-old but now a fee in excess of £6million is being talked about for Wanyama.

Clubs in Italy, Spain and France have all been impressed by Wanyama, but he is understood to be keen on a move to the Premier League.

Opportunities

Now Wanyama is ready to move from Celtic and his business manager Rob Moore has explained that he hopes the club would listen to offers if they came.

"That has been a lot of talk which is not necessarily true," Moore explained to Sky Sports.

"But he is like any other young talented footballer in that he wants to play at the highest level.

"He has made the club aware that if they receive an offer from one of the big leagues he would like them to consider it.

"He is not unhappy at Celtic, far from it - he loves the club and everything has been great for him since he moved but should something come in he feels they should listen."
