Scottish Mag
Cabaye as good as gone, Jonas injured, and getting bummed on the first day. We have to sign two at a bare minimum, right? But can we get them over the line?

Ketsbaia
At least this might wake Ashley up. A 4-0 embarassment, his investment is in danger. Yeah, right!
Disco
3 players down after the first game, some going that.
Decky
If it took the sale of Cabaye to fund the purchase of Thauvin and Gomis then so I'd gladly take that. Still stand by this. They'll be playing under Pardew. May as well just get two homeless bums to play for us instead, they'll be free.
KaKa
I hope you didn't come in here looking for some hope? There is none ... we have been linked with nobody. It's all broken beyond repair.

joeyt
From .com Less than two weeks before the transfer window closes - and boosted by an influx of funds from the expected sale of Yohan Cabaye - we understand that NUFC officials are currently overseas, concluding permanent deals to sign two players. More as we get it...

aussiemag
We have to replace Cabaye with a centre midfielder capable of opening up an opposition defence or a legitimate number 10 type player. If we sell Cabaye we need 3 signings. Perhaps talk of a 20 million pound budget is "the asking price" for Cabaye.
Guest icemanblue
Fucking hope they're right, like. Desperately need a boost. Already. We've needed it all summer, to be fair. There's been no 'reset' of the mood since the arse end of the season. No real, tangible reason for optimism. What the Remy signing brought was marred slightly by the fact he's injured.
