NUFC transfer rumours in the press

Recommended Posts

if Cabaye goes and we can get in McCarthy/Fernandes, Ince/Moses/Ayew,  + Gomis. Id be bloody stoked, but I cant see it happening.

If we sold Cabaye but signed that lot (well McCarthy, one of those three and Gomis, no real idea about Fernandes) it would be a really good transfer window. Definitely not happening.

Id be happy with Cabaye going, a Cabaye replacement and Poyet as manager. For me the problem is 70% Pardew, 30% Squad depth.

Kinnear was understood to be in France over the weekend checking out Andre Ayew in Marseille in the Veldrome team’s 1-0 win over Valenciennes in northern France.

But an asking price of £15million is likely to be a stumbling block.

Can I get excited about you signing André Ayew? Always loved him as a player. Think he has lots of potential.

After so long on these boards you should know better than to get excited until we actually see him in a black and white shirt.

If he can put in a decent cross and play as a 'proper' wide man in a 4-4-2, he'd make a huge difference to the team with those attributes alone.

He doesn't have much of a cross in him that I recall, he's more a guy that cuts inside.

We have players that do that already!

Not like we don't have enough of those already. We could realy do with wide players who like to get beyond defenders and provide decent crosses for the strikers, but I guess if he can deliver a few goals that is a bonus.

It might be more the manager's fault, but you certainly don't have many players that get into the box.

watching them enough it just doesn't look like it's part of their natural game. manager/clubs fault mind for having such an unbalanced squad.

Great gameplan this - no way they would accept that and rightly not.
