It wasn't the harassment that made me answer some questions. It was the fact that someone asked me a question and if someone asks me something I normally answer them. Like I've said above, I never spread the picture and I don't even have twitter so hardly made sure journos knew about it.

Look north wanted to do a video today which I refused as there is no way I want to be on tele. I've only said he was there that night and he was betting small amounts for a premier league player.

So you didn't want to be on tele, big deal.

Do you think Cisse wanted to be splashed all over the papers in a casino?

Cisse's my favourite player, but enough of this rubbish.

Yep... It probably needed something like this to hopefully bring it to a head... Doesn't leave him with much room to wriggle despite his agent coming out today saying Cisse doesn't gamble...

It's all so fucking stupid. He's a professional footballer. He knew going in that his shirt was going to have the name of a sponsor that he'd have no role in selecting in big bold letters right on the front.

He didn't know it would be a sponsor like this though, especially as other clubs have rejected sponsorship deals due to the same issues he has.

You could say "He knew he'd have to play in the role the manager gave him" but there's a difference between being asked to play as a second striker and being asked to play in nets

 f***ing hell.

The papers took it from twitter - I didn't post it on the internet. When he goes to a casino he.must know he is.going to be recognised because of the job he has.

Newcastle city councillor Dipu Ahad has previously defended Cisse's stance on Wonga.

He said: "I feel absolutely ashamed of what he's done, there's not just me there's been other people who've been supporting him.

"But what he's done now, seeing him in the casino, even if he wasn't gambling, I think this gives a wrong message.

"People will say, 'look, this is Islam they can pick and choose whatever they want', and Islam isn't about picking and choosing."

What an ignorant cunt eh?  Islam isn't about picking and choosing. Really? Newcastle online says differently.  this guy should read up on his faith.

Should probably let him know that everyone picks and chooses anyway so, really, it's ok, and ergo, concordantly, there is no such thing as a hypocrite because you can make up whatever rules you want to follow in a religion and say you're of that religion and best of all everyone has to respect it!

Personally I prefer the more moderate religious folk who are willing to let minor stuff slide - think that's being pretty flexible and accomodating with your religious beliefs, which is what people are usually in favour of.  Aren't they?

I think you'll find he follows a specific brand of Islam where gambling is strictly forbidden as is picking and choosing what parts of Islam to follow.  So we have to respect his views and say Cisse is bang out of order.

I was kidding. Of course Cisse is out of order.

So because he's a Muslim he's not allowed to make a stand against something? That's basically what people are saying. Unless Cissé makes a statement saying he is refusing to wear the shirt because it says in the Quran that he's not allowed to, then I fail to see how his gambling is relevant at all.

Gambling doesn't seem minor:

I've read plenty of stuff like this over the past few weeks and like i said weeks ago that pic of him in the casino will change everything.

So you think Cisse is only doing this because he doesn't agree with the Wonga principles and it has nothing to do with Religious beliefs?!!
