"Mackem at work" today came out with how Pardew will be scared of going near Di Canio on the touch line at the derby (I read the same comment on RTG the other day but I don't think he reads RTG). Obviously the Mackems were "rattled" at last seasons derby when Pardew went at O'Neill. They said it proved how classy they were compared to NUFC and yet now they say there new manager will chin anyone who goes near him.

You just know someone on RTG will be wanting to form one of their special club 'friendships' with Lazio now. I'm sure some of their least intelligent support will probably end up doing the "Roman salute" to Di Canio at some point.

He isn't criminal,

Some are labelling him like he's some sort of criminal ffs.

Now, I'm not sure of the law in the UK, but I would have thought that if he pulled his "Roman salute" at the Stadium of Light he would be committing a criminal act? He certainly would in Australia, under Racial Hatred and Villification legislation. Just a thought...

Has he done that like?

Because if he hasn't, and he hasn't been charged for it in a court of law then what exactly are you talking about?

"If he pulled" and "would be"

It's a theoretical situation that is not beyond the realms of possibility.

EDIT: As much as anything I would have thought it would be a crime in Italy. Like the displaying of a swastika is a crime in Germany, and for the same reasons

Just seemed a fairly roundabout way to effectively agree with "he's not a criminal". He could randomly go berserk on the touchline and start knocking people out too.

I don't think he'll last long enough to do anything stupid anyway tbh, I would be pretty surprised if he's there beyond next January.

If I was a recruiter for any far right group I would go to RTG now as it would be easy to pick up a few nuggets.

Is mackemlogic no longer on twitter? If no, why did that person give it up.

IIRC some mackems found out his personal details and posted them online.

How is this done btw? Seen it before on forums/Twitter.

It's known as doxing and how you go about it depends on what info you start with, really

With every passing hour this appointment looks like a disaster waiting to happen. The negative media storm is something they're not used to and Di Canio's ego will go out of control. Maybe he'll get the 'new manager bounce' but long term - and even medium term - its all going to go wrong.

Thankfully

CONTROVERSIAL football boss Paolo Di Canio grieves at the funeral of an Italian fascist linked to a terrorist bombing massacre.

The new Sunderland manager was paying his last respects to extremist pal Paolo Signorelli, who spent eight years in jail after a 1980 attack which killed 85 people.

Fascist mourners made straight-armed salutes as 76-year-old Signorelli’s coffin was carried out of the church in Rome three years ago.

Our exclusive photos will pile fresh pressure on self-proclaimed fascist Di Canio, who yesterday refused to talk about his political past when tackled by The Sun.

His friend Signorelli had been a high-profile member of the MSI, the Italian Socialist Movement which emerged from the embers of Benito Mussolini’s Fascist Party.

The activist also had links to the far-right paramilitary group NAR — the Armed Revolutionary Nuclei — which was behind the Bologna train station bombing in 1980.

The attack killed 85 people and injured hundreds more — including several British holidaymakers.

Signorelli served eight years in jail on remand in connection with the bombing — plus the murders of two judges — before being convicted.

He was later acquitted on appeal due to insufficient evidence but was guilty of being a member of an “armed band” and a “subversion against democracy”.

Di Canio — a regular visitor at Signorelli’s home near Rome — said he was a fascist in an interview in 2005.

But yesterday the 44-year-old Italian ignored questions on his political views — and even threatened to walk out of a press conference at Sunderland’s training ground.

Just seen this bits been added at the bottom:

Sunderland’s shirt sponsor, Invest in Africa, is also said to be reviewing its £20million deal

Thought they were doing that already though?

Would be great if sponsors started pulling out

If sponsors pull out (especially £20m deals) then he will be given the boot.
