Dave
Which team is coming into this game on the back of a worse result?
Guest ObiChrisKenobi
All of you need to be smacked in the head. This team just lost 4-0 to West Brom away, now they have to battle in the Colosseum brimming with 52,000 bloodthirsty adversaries. WBA's African star striker ripped them to shreds. Our two will do similar. Get the hell out of here with this pessimism rubbish.
Decky
Would be sensational to be 13 points ahead of them next weekend.
midds
I think it'll be a draw. 2 points out of 6 from these 2 home games would be disappointing if I'm honest.
alexf
There is no way we will be as flat as we were today. If we can get "up" for the game like we were against man u and spurs at home. Then we as a team are a completely different animal.
Spudil
Which team is coming into this game on the back of a worse result? Well Sunderland surely...
alexf
to be fair we had a shocker away at west brom last season and are yet to play them away this. So not going to make any jokes about their result

Guest SuperShola!
I hope we fuck them up again. Another thrashing would be fantastic.
Guest SuperShola!
Fuckin bunch of soft cocks in here like. We'll f*** them up on the pitch and in the stands. Nee sweat.
Dave
1-1. Expecting an absolutely awful match.
joeyt
Whats their likely line up? Or in other words,is Turner likely to play? Bit worried about Sessegnon, despite his apparently poor game today
madras
player for [layer we are better than them, if we play football and go for it instead of containment and hit on the break. could be 3-0, todays tactics 1-1.
Beren
Get the impression Pardew has limited confidence in our side, so will look to "match up" our formation to negate them/not lose rather playing with the confidence/formation/outlook of a home team in sixth playing against someone ten points below them. For all the media's bullshit about M'ON, he's a decent manager/tactician - and I think he'll a) know the importance of the game in how he'll be judged by Sunderland long-term b) will have been keeping an eye on "how to beat us" because of the importance of the game. Desperately hope to be proven wrong.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
If we manage to play a more successful variation of our direct game like at home to Man Utd, Pardew can be very good at getting the crowd on side and the team fired up but so can MON and I imagine he loves this sort of occasion. Could be an interesting battle, could be utter shite.

Could be an interesting battle, could be utter s****. we didn't really play a direct game against man utd, two of the goals came that way though. madras
seems like both teams had days of 'before the lord mayors show' today.
Karjala
We need to get at them early and get ahead... might sound obvious, but as more people have been saying, the mackems will be made for it being 0-0 for as long as poss with them countering. They hadn't lost be more than a goal all season until today, and they got fuckin arseholed, so if we are up for it, we can put a couple past them 1st half. Karjala
Get an early goal against these and their game plan goes out of the window. If we do that, we'll win. If we don't they will.
S.S.R.
0-0 might be a good bet as O'Neill parks the bus in the hope of catching us on the counter, while Pards plays one up front and tiote and perch to sit in front of the back four.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Disagree there Madras, involved a lot of using the wind to our advantage and bringing Krul forward to launch them. Worked, mind.
Mick
We'll win. The fans will be up for it and we'll lift the players.

Worked, mind. we had the wind in both halves ? we back passed loads to krul that game ? one of the main things to come out of that game was the ability to bring the ball out, colo, tiote, cabaye, jonas and santon in particular stood out at it, we out masn utd'd man utd. Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
We mixed it up a lot better aye, the general idea was to get it long towards Shola and get Ba feeding off the knockdowns. Hope we see some of the energy and atmosphere from that game on Sunday
Pilko
We'll fucking cunt the soft mackem bastards. Their players always bottle it.
