Guest
Nope that's new. Only went online in the last 30 minutes. Still don't know what to make of that site though, it's not like L'Equipe, RMC or the regional papers for reliability anyway.

KDT
Sell-on clause doesn't sound very Mike & Dekka
mattypnufc
Does seem a clever offer anyway. Indeed with the likelyhood him being 27 means little chance of a sell-on fee ending up there way.
SteveMc
Sure the same site had arsenal bidding earlier. Sound like bullshit merchants
bowlingcrofty
Sell-on clause doesn't sound very Mike & Dekka If we sell him in 5 years we won't get much for him. Mike and Dekka are twisting their arm with a sell on clause of a percentage of bugger all.

Wouldn´t be too surprsied if it´s true in spite of the fact that we usually dont have any sell-on clauses in our offers, but for someone who is 27 it sounds like the Ashley-way. Tiresias
Hmmmm not sure tbh, sounds like they're REALLY unwilling to go above £6m and so are adding on other incentives. Dunno if at 27 they'd be that interested in a sell-on clause. Why not throw another bit on now assuming that we'll end up paying it at some point anyway with such a clause. Unless we're sticking a minimum-release clause in his contract like Ba but for a tidier sum.

TheGuv
Ryder said there had been a delay didn't he? I know that this has been painful but some of the patter on here has been pitiful of late aye, a few veruca salt's on here. How has this not been laughed at yet? If the fee's set at something like £10m though, he has a class season and a bigger gun comes in and they stand to get an extra couple of million. pbxtn
I see that new article has already caused waves on Twitter, apparently Debuchy is ours now we've finally offered the €8M that Lille have been asking for. I despair for Twitter.

Amid news that Italian giants Inter Milan were also eyeing Debuchy, Newcastle have improved their opening offer for the 27-year-old to around £6million, plus add-ons. Stifler
Lee Ryder @lee_ryder Pato was seen at SJP today with a deal with NUFC set to be tied up. Thats the sort of shit I expected him to come out with today when Pato was indeed here but only to play for Brazil.

Belfast Mags
From memory they wanted €8million which is roughly £6.2million. Rumour was our offer was well off that.

pbxtn
There's a French journalist on Twitter called Francois Piraux who writes for Sport365, he says the new offer today was €6m with the clause being 20% of any future fee, he got the info from @ignazzz365 who he claims to be a reliable source. Can't vouch them but as it's came from France it automatically gets more credence than our papers, in this case.
