God dammit. If nothing else, this week has shown all our modus operandi.

"Why hello Siem de Jong, aren't you surprisingly cheap? Just sit tight for a year or so..."

"Well goodbye Monsieur Debuchy, wow, hasn't your value just shot up! Ka-ching! I mean, au revoir, miss you..."

Obvious sale is obvious. We've more than doubled our money in 18 months. Never gonna be any loyalty from the player's side either, given the state of the club and factoring in his best mate left.

Partridge shrug.

I'd sell Debuchy on the hope that Carr could find someone better for peanuts. Think Mathieu is alright overall, good movement going forward off the ball and has a very good recovery tackle in him, but he also loses his man alot (hence why he's frequently playing catch up) and usually does nothing noteworthy on the ball.

As Ronaldo has posted earlier, think we'd be better off with someone solid at the back first and foremost. Beye at his best was miles better than Debuchy imo, he'd lock his flank down defensively and pretty much shut out anyone on his flank, and wasn't too shabby going forward either.

Lets see what he does at his next club.

What's this based on?

The amount of times he saved our skin last season covering other peoples mistakes with last ditch tackles, certainly has weaknesses but like fuck is he an average defender..

He's superb going forward imo. Delivery might not be exceptional but he always offers an option on the overlap at the very least. Would be gutted to see him go but can hardly blame him either. Watch him thrive at Arsenal.
