Jimburst
Neesy's just a pure tit on here tbh. I'm sure he's a lovely guy in real life like, just: It shouldn't be locked but people need to move on. I mean, who posts on a Forum, yet doesn't get the concept of conversation and debate? Kanj
The amount of times Simpson gets on the ball, you just hope that in January we replace him with Mathieu. He would have absolutely tore Evra a new one today.
loki679
The amount of times Simpson gets on the ball, you just hope that in January we replace him with Mathieu. He would have absolutely tore Evra a new one today. Seemed to be the same thing every time he got it yesterday too. Get into a good position (by skinning them a couple of times ) and then his right foot turns into a giant lego block and the ball gets ballooned off in some random direction. AlanSkÃrare
Andy Brassell @andybrassell Word around Lille is that Mathieu Debuchy to #NUFC is imminent (via @AntoinePlacer/@lavoixdunord). LOSC cost-cutting. Brassell knows his stuff

He would have absolutely tore Evra a new one today. very much seems like teams are now leaving him unmarked so the ball gets funneled to him. nowhere near as bad defensivly as many on here make out but full backs now get so much possession that they have to be so much better on the ball. LoveItIfWeBeatU
Genuinely interested to know if Mathieu Debuchy has been having a decent season. Does anyone know?
SteveMc
It's those constant aimless crosses that do it for me. As you say he can have good games defensively. He is too often caught out though too.
BeloEmre
http://www.lavoixdunord.fr/sports/losc-mathieu-debuchy-file-vers-newcastle-exclusif-ia182b204n931168#.UOAedqmw8XE.twitter The operation is not again official and nevertheless, according to our information, Mathieu Debuchy no longer will be from Lille in 2013. While its leaders finalize in this moment even the agreement with Newcastle (First League), that already wished his coming this summer, the lateral one of 27 prepared years its matters and his departure. Cajun
Please, even if he is at the same level as Simpson defensively more pressure will be taken off as the opposition will have more to think about defending themselves.
ToonMonty
f***ing hope so, desperately need someone like him It would give the crowd and hopefully the dressing room a big lift as would the much needed new centre half

Cajun
Not going to get excited, we have had done deal articles with Remy and we had done deal, finalised in a couple of days articles with Debuchy himself.
Guest Geordiesned
It is the end of a beautiful story, a kid from the cru and the club of his heart. Since this summer and a missed start, something was broken between Lille and Mathieu Debuchy. Since then, the side struggled to find the smile and his best form, although he had come to evacuate frustration. But while he thought to finish the season, despite his departure from the Council of elders, despite the departure of law, the side has seen the situation to accelerate sharply: Newcastle needs reinforcements, while it comes to cash 11 goals in two games against MU and Arsenal and Lille need of liquidity. This time, the two quickly agreed, at least in spirit, while the final details were wound up in this very moment. According to one English source close to the record, the two clubs would be agreed for a transfer of the order of EUR 6 million, and the discussions now on various bonuses related to this movement. But the deal is no more doubt: Davie will be Magpie for the next years. It will find Yohan Cabaye, his buddy, with whom he signed the League and cup double in 2011. But also several French, such as Ben Arfa, Obertan or man. For Lille, which continues its economic change as we had left it before the Christmas holidays, the French international's departure will relieve the finance, and enable Sidibé to express themselves more. Remains to be seen how the rest of the group will digest this new departure of a framework. And if this will allow to recruit in the offensive sector before the NPC, which is not at all certain. http://www.lavoixdunord.fr/sports/losc-mathieu-debuchy-file-vers-newcastle-exclusif-ia182b204n931168
