Shame Cabaye is injured because i would love to see Anita-Cabaye-Marv at some point.

Makes you wonder where Tiote fits in now. He's clearly an asset against the big teams but can be a liability against the lesser teams and has a hard time controlling his temper these days.

Tiote is annoying me at the moment, he is obviously a fantastic player but he needs to go back to basics.

Doing what he does best he is by far my first choice centre mid but he is fannying about far too much this season which is very frustrating.

Pretty much how I feel about him right now. Believing his own hype too much?

Said this a few times and do feel a bit James/T27 like but I do think the players/staff/manager making him out to be footballs Chuck Norris doesn't help.

When he first came here, was a relatively unknown player who was often used off the bench in Holland he was amazing and his passing accuracy was unreal. Now he has that Arsenal goal, the Norris effect etc.. he takes far too many risks, doesn't bother looking up and tries to ping it about like he is Xavi.

Get him back to basics and he will start performing like the player linked with £20m moves.

Remember Pardew saying he could be so much more when he first took over. It's been an issue since then. He's a limited player who is very effective when played right.

Think he's going to prove to be a bargain at £5-6m or whatever he cost once he's up to speed. Looking like a Premier League player the last two games.

Amazing some were slagging him. I mean a foreign player taking time to settle in a new league and country shocker.

Aye, think we were spoiled by Tiote and then Cabaye coming in and doing well from the beginning pretty much.

Got a lot of stick on another forum I use, many 'will never make it in this league'. Still has some way to go but it does surprise me that some still won't give players time to adapt given the amount of players who have shown big progress the last few seasons.

He is Puff Daddy though, can't look at him without thinking it.

Yeah on the money that. Just looks a tidy little player with something special in there too.

I do admit watching him challenge for a header makes me piss myself. Little Vurn  :hello:

Quelle surprise, player who has always played in a 3 man midfield looking better in a 3 man midfield, probably my MOM tonight, always showing for it and making angles, makes such a difference.

Not really. I think most hoped he would come good but stated that he'd been very poor and hadn't shown anything (before last few games) to show he was any sort of player. The fact is he was shit when he first came into the team. As was Coloccini. As was Perch.

They were shit for a season, so this lad has done quite well to be good after a dozen games i guess.
