Would be nice to have a few early/pre-PL suggestions to even things out. Pretty sure Shelvey and Sissoko's decent but not particularly memorable strikes against Fulham and West Brom aren't among the greatest Newcastle goals of all time. :lol:

 

I'll chuck in Supermac v Bolton in the 76 cup quarter-final and his second goal against Liverpool in his home debut hat-trick.

 

Mathie v Sheffield Wednesday.

 

Shearer volley v Villa and thunderbastard v Chelsea in 03/04. 

 

Still missing Schär v PSG I think.

We were in the seats on the side (front row) and I remember their mascot going around and throwing walkers crisps into the stands but phoning it in passing the Newcastle sections, got some stick for it and started giving some out only for most to get hurled straight back at it.  And coming out the ground with our fans in the terrace behind the goal chanting at us "rip the seats ouit for the lads".

It woud have been October or November and all the bother of last seasons game would have been in the previous April or May so tensions would still have been a bit high. I was a cocky little 14 year old shit at the time and more than happy to scrap with other kids my age but got to say when those Leicester lads who would have been 20 years older started with us my arse dropped a bit :lol:
