Dokko
Ba - shit pen, good position for the follow up, absolutely daft reaction on the tackle. Raylor - great freekick, unstoppable. Braga - Dirty cunts Their keeper - somewhat emotional, freak. Sameobi - looking useful again Cisse - thinking we should have sent him to the Olympics. Simpson - Done good i thought. Harper - worst player at the club. Marvauex - dangerous Match - good 2nd half performance, looked more like our real selves first time pre-season. Ikon
apart from a few glimpses we were poor. Impressed with Marv though.
David28
Not that I would want to praise myself here, but Simpson seems like a better player after I had my personal talks with him in Landsberg.
Skeletor
Positives: Sammy Ameobi Colo Marveaux Jonas Raylor's free kick taking The return of Cabaye Negatives: Harper Tiote's temper Cisse's uncharacteristic finishing Ba's penalty taking

David28
Man of the match: Marveaux Yep. We didn't even miss him last season. But looking back now, we missed him.

buzza
Ba and Cisse both on Ramadamadamadan. We can forgive him a few misses for another couple of weeks....
bowlingcrofty
If, and it's a big if, Marveaux can stay largely injury free this year, it's a massive boost. He's got a cracking turn of pace and great control. He'd be like a new signing, one may say.
Guest neesy111
Looked a bit more like our old selves tonight I reckon. In parts we did, started both halfs of the pace so need to rectify that. Cabaye looks match fit already.

Pilko
Impressive: Marveaux, Coloccini, Sammy Good: Tavernier, Cabaye (briefly), Simpson OK: Ryan Taylor, Gutierrez, Ba, Vuckic, Obertan Poor: Cisse, Harper, Tiote
Dave
Another good workout, couple of nice bits of play and a fantastic goal from Taylor. With some better finishing it would have been miles more comfortable, but I think we'll take heart from our defending at the end which though a little edgy got the job done. Always nice to win something even if it's just a pre-season tournament, can never be bad for morale.
